Likes

Campus is very green and beautiful. Labs have air conditioners
The cleanliness in campus is applaudable
Ample parking facility for both 2 and 4 wheelers is available

Dislikes

Classes get very hot due to lack of Air conditioners
The water from watercoolers aren't potable and have a weird taste. Can cause typhoid

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum feels outdated and not aligned with current industry requirements. The curriculum is just theory and even in programming labs we are forced theory There are too much examinations in the college. 2 STs 1 PUT 1 UT Apart from this regular class tests and assignments are there

Placement Experience

Placements of college are not upto mark and have decreased year by year. This year hardly half of the batch is placed. The college doesn't allow students for any full time internships Brands like Amazon have blacklisted the college for its policies which don't allow students to join jobs during 4th year Avg package is around 4 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees for the first year is 1,41,000 and for subsequent years it gets decreased to 1,21,000. There is no additional fee apart from this. There is no scholarship provided by the college however students from ews background can get aid from University and government

Campus Life

There are no fests in this college. Sometimes some cultural events happen ( small scale) Lab computers are okay Keyboard and mouse are trash Book bank is provided by the college although the books are useless Sports facilities are only for hostel kids Various societies and clubs are there for students

Admission

The eligibility of various branches is different. Admission can be done by 2 methods Direct admission by board marks And through jee score BOARDS 95+ cse 90+ cse with specialisation 65+ for ECE ee me Jee percentile above 90 gets cse and specialisation branches

Faculty

The faculty hired are mtech and PhD professionals by their qualifications and have good experience. But they all lack in depth knowledge and are just concerned about attendance in classes. Some faculties are good, most are worst

Interview Experience

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Real Story of SCRIET

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
