IHM LUCKNOW a central government college in Lucknow.

Basically I choose this course because I want to perceive my Career in hospitality industry and after giving NCHMCT JEE exam I got my admission in ihm Lucknow In first round of counselling. Talking about teaching methods offered by the college, students get practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. Talking about the timings off the exam first exam is happens in the middle of semester that we called mid exam and then at the last of the semester there is end term exam. The duration of one semester is about four months And there are total six semesters in the course.

Talking about internship opportunities- Internship is offered by the college and students interested in different companies can also go walk in to work with their desired company. In our three year course total six semesters are there in our third semester or fourth semester we have to do our industrial exposure training(IET) And it is compulsory for all the students in the industrial training or internship you will get to explore all the four departments or all core departments of the hotel that is 1. Front office 2. Housekeeping 3. Food and beverage department(F&B) 4. Culinary . Talking about my experience from my internship I have done my training from JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi and I work with all four departments of the hotel and what I like is that I get exposure of all the departments And what I dislike is the timings of the hotel for the interns and there was not specific shift timings for the interns sometime shift timings goes about 12 hours.

In my college ihm Lucknow campus placement is offered to the students. The eligibility of the students to appear for the campus placement is that they should have in their third year of course as the campus placement is offered at the last year of the course. Talking about the companies that visited our college for placements top recruiters are Taj ,Oberoi ,Hilton , Marriott , etc. Apart from hotels sales recruiters are also come for recruitment process and top recruiters in sales are Aditya Birla, Reliance retail, H&M ,Burger King etc. Highest package a student got from our college is 12 LPA . Lowest package a student got from our college is 3.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is 84%. My plans after the degree or completion of my course is to I want good and secure job in Taj group of hotels basically I want to crack M of Taj group of hotels.

Talking about the tuition fees my tuition fees for one semester is about ?60,000 and to note there are two semesters in a year then my face is about 1,20,000 for one year. Talking about the complete cost of In which I will cover the tuition fees as well as the hostel fees then it is about ?1,70,000 for one year(tution fees+ hostel fees). Talking about the scholarship offered by the college first scholarship is offered by the UP government and it is only for the students that are from Uttar Pradesh the scholarship named as UP government scholarship and it is filled every year by several students of the college and they get the scholarship also from the UP government. Second scholarship is offered by the national scholarship Council and for that scholarship your NCHMCT JEE marks will be considered and if you are from a special category like SC or ST then you have to be in top three rank. And to note that for UP government scholarship your semester marks will be considered.

Talking about experience in campus life my experience in campus life is quite good the college held Functions and theme function is time to time . One of the famous and beloved College festival is Concordia. Basically Concordia is a event that is held by the college every year in this event there are four teams And for the four teams there are president respectively and to elect the President for all the teams there are election happened before the event and all the college students take participation in the election process. In Concordia all the sports including cricket football tennis et cetera are organised and prices are distributed to the winners also. Not only sports there are competitions like quiz competition singing competition dance competition et cetera are held in Concordia event. Till of now not a single student runs any social groups or clubs in the college but I think in upcoming time there will be so.

Talking about the hostel facility it is quite good what I like the most about the college as it is just few steps away from the college and the students stayed in the hostel did not suffer to travel far to come to the college. Talking about the facilities provided in the room there are not as such facilities provided in the hostel room but you will get a bed along with the study table and a chair and a wardrobe that's it and to note that 24 x 7 electricity is provided to the students stay in the hostel. Talking about the meal quality and menu the meal quality is average and cyclic menu is offered by the hostel mess. Talking about the registration process for hostel In first year you have to be in the merit list of Entrance exam NCHMCT JEE then you will get the hostel in first year and in second or third year your academic marks will be considered for hostel.

About the admission process to take admission in ihm Lucknow You will have to appear for the NCHMCT JEE Exam which is conducted every year by NTA And many students apply for the exam to get admission in different ihm's of India. Talking about the eligibility of the course Just have to pass your 12th exam with English as a compulsory subject and then you will eligible to apply for the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam conducted by NTA. Talking about reservation benefits there are not as such benefits of reservation given by the college but you will get the scholarship amount more as compared to general category and to note that scholarship is offered by UP government and national scholarship Council respectively. Talking about the frequency and timing of exam exam is conducted two times in a semester First exam is conducted in the mid Sam that we call Mid Sem exam exam Second exam conducted at the last date we called it end term exam. One semester is about four months.

Talking about faculty to students ratio then there is 1 teacher on every 32 students. Talking about learning experience my experience till now in my college is quite good. I get the practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge also and this is the best aspect I think.
