Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum assigned was designed by the university of Pune and PICT college follows that curriculum. Exams are taken by the SPPU and level of the exams is intermediate. Mostly the difficulty size of the exam is ranging from easy to intermediate. Teaching methods should be made innovative and should be based on real world applications.
Internships Opportunities
There are few opportunities for the internshps in companies like Barclays, ZS, Siemens, etc. The companies come in the third year of college for internships and some provide PPO as well. The tasks assigned are relatively easy in internships.
Placement Experience
The campus placements for internships starts from third year and for full time roles it starts from the start of final year. The campus visitors are big fin tech companies such as Mastercard, Deustche bank, BNY Mellon, etc. Almost 90 % students got placements. The average package offered is 12 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
In year 2019 the total fees was around 1,00,000 Rs. And that fees remains same for 4 years. I f you come under EWS then your fees will be around 56,000 Rs. There will be concession for other categories as well. This comes under Rajarshi shahu maharaj scheme. There is also a scheme for hostel students Punjabrao scholership scheme.
Campus Life
The annual festival named as ADDICTION has been organized for 3 days. All the cultural activities are performed in this event. The facilities in the classroom are sufficient. There is less focus on sports and extracurricular activities. There are many clubs present and social groups as well.
Admission
The admission process was through cap round. The application details will be find on the cet cell official website. There you can find all the details of the application. The admission process usually starts in the month of July.
Faculty
The facultys are quite approachable and ready to provide the solution to your queries. The teaching techniques sometimes difficult to understand but you can approach another faculty then. The interactions are quite often with the faculties regarding projects or studies.
