Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. We are improving day by day . The difficulty level is bit hard but we can achieve things.

Internships Opportunities

As I'm student of 4th semester. I don't know much about internship opportunities but MacLeod Pharma company gives the opportunity of internship with the stipend of 10000 rupees. Many roles are offered

Placement Experience

From 7th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Not much company visit. MacLeod Pharma company visited last year. Although many students opt for the higher studies but 50% students gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course is pretty much affordable for all. Somewhere it takes 1.2 lakhs of 4 years which is pretty much affordable. There are various opportunities which we can take advantage of and make our career good.

Campus Life

Every 2 months there is a fest and some function. There is a central library in which almost all books are kept . The facilities in classroom are good and students feel comfortable. There is also a big ground in which various sports are played.

Admission

10+2 with 60% and the admission process was from the entrance exam CUET. There are 30 seats reserved for SC, ST, and OBC. The admission was easy and based on merit list. Those who qualified they got easy admission.

Faculty

The faculty member are well qualified and very helpful towards students. The faculty to student ratio is 1:5 and it impacts very much in learning new things about the course. They approach us to learn new things . We are free to interact with the faculties anytime.

Placement Experience:

After 8th semester student will eligible for placement or internship. Cipla company were visited and given number of offers for student. Almost 60 percent student got placement I will do M pharma in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced by the nature of the course that how one should handle with the medicines and all the practical related to it. The curriculum of the University will prepare you to bear the stress as it gives a lot of burden either by means of exams or either by practicals. the frequency of practical and the quality of education during practical or studies can be improved by giving E education. The sessional exams are of less marks and the duration of the exam is one hour and the semester exams are of three hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So I am doing B pharmacy in which study of medicines, and all knowledge regarding to drug making to there effect, selling, marketing every thing we study. This course gives me a lot of knowledge about medicine which will help me in future reference when I'll join any medical field like knowledge of medicines about which medicine is given in treatment of what disease. Areas for improvement- I would say the teaching methods should be improved. The working of University shoul be improved they should make easier for students to communicate with them. Timing of exams are hectic. We have to give CT exams in every 45 days and after that we have to give final semester exams. Frequency of exams is not good there is no break for us

My good and bad experience in GGV Bilaspur CG

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy is an excellent field if you can travel and live outside the CG bcoz there's no scope of pharmacy in CG bcoz it is limited to hospital pharmacy or retail shop or clinical pharmacist only. There's a lot of opportunities outside the CG like indore, chennai , Hyderabad, sikkim, industries. Also if you dislike to work under someone you shall open a retail shop in a proper area to earn more money. Best opportunity is DI and railway pharmacist but their vacancy comes once in 5 year only that is the biggest demerit of pharmacy field i guess. Professorship is also good if you have patience level bcoz PhD is mandatory and not everyone has enough patience to qualify CSIR net and do PhD.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for campus placement. Caplin point we did and 80%of students get placement. but salaries are only 15000. this is a drawback of this. if we do an extra course we can earn 25000 or above.

It's Location since it is located in Bilaspur and High court of Chhattisgarh is itself located here so internship and legal experience will be maximized.
