All about Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology, Versova

I don't like the circiculam of the first year engineering since it had all the subjects related to all the fields I guess it was necessary also but not till this extent since since the one subject related to c programming but in today's world we use vs code and all but the old circiculam forces us to use turbo since nobody use now days. Rest I guess a little modifications needed

In 7-8 semester that is the fourth year of engineering where students gets eligible for the placements there are company visiting the college. A avg package of 5-8 Lpa is provided to students. Companies such as Wipro,TcS, Infosys and certain start-ups visit the college conduct certain rounds before final selection.. Highest package in 2022-23 was provided was 13 lpa and avg was 5-7 lpa Since 2023-24 round isn't closed since I don't have proper number... From IT department almost 70% got placed and rest 30 % went ahead for further studies or startup culture

The fees of my clg is around 1,26,000 For general category and goes down seeing the caste system. There are scholarship options for caste based reservation like for sc and st and OBC category Our college is working on a committee where for economically backward section students we will provide engineering drawing equipments like drafter roller scale at lower rates. And seeing other colleges in Mumbai our college is affordable

Our college hosts different fests such as zodiac it's our cultural fest happens every year Our departmental fest synergy it's technical fest this year we hosted sharkthon which was smaller version of shark tank India and second day we hosted bike expo and bgmi event and different commities such as NSS,UBA,Ellite fleet is dance committee, rhythm is musical committee, mukhate- acting club, In classroom we just have a digiboard We have every year a sports fest which is olympia where First year of engineering being a team And then Electronics and telecommunication department so it's departments vs first year engineering clg vs

A admission desk with fully equipped staff and services were set in convinet manner the que was pretty long but mangable since everything was kept at ease. The desk was set completely. There were no issues while admission time and all the forms were kept in systematic order the staff and admin office staff were polite and helpful

The faculty here at RGIT is pretty decent They do make sure that the learning materials are properly uploaded at Google classrooms notes are given Faculty do understand that students need to participate in extracurricular activities and support with the same .. the use proper interactive ways to teach topic use digital board for the same
