You can pursue anything which you like from sports to any cultural activities
IIT Kanpur has arts club, music club, aerodynamics club ,etc.

Dislikes

Everything here happens very quickly so you cannot settle properly
Full semester happens in about 4 months in which you have midsem and endsem exam

Course Curriculum Overview

Aerospace Engineering has one of the best curriculum in India. We have studied and applied almost all the basic techniques which are applied in real world The only improvement is that the curriculum should be centric to learning and not just grades Quizzes happen biweekly and their difficulty is moderate

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not seen any hike in tuition fee in my academia. Complete cost is around 10 lakhs excluding hostel charges There are many scholarships here if you are needful which will make your tuition fees almost 0. Proper placement happens here and you will get a lot of opportunities in different companies

Campus Life

Udghosh , Techkriti and Antaragani happens in month of october , arpil and February . You can have literally any book available to you. There are proper classrooms with proper seatings and ACs There is a great enthusiasm for sports and extracurricular activities. You will enjoy a lot. There are many groups and clubs run by students and also social groups for helping poor poor children.

Admission

You will have to qualify JEE advance exam. Based on your merit you will get Aerospace branch. Reservations are there for backward classes and female students. Biweekly quiz happens and their difficulty is moderate. It should be more flexible in terms of counselling process.

Faculty

The faculty - to - student ratio is 1:20(I believe) , which gives us a great opportunity to students to learn and get feedback from faculty. Almost all the faculty members have done their phd's from one of the top most universities in world. So they are highly educated. We can meet faculty members at office hours and also ask them to give some time to meet them via mail.

I am a B. Tech student so I am happy with my course. As we can see the world is full on dependent on network so I decide to choose computer science. I had just started coding in python so this is a start I will learn about programming language more and more. To improve teaching we have to use more practical data.

Placement Experience:

From the 5 semester the students become eligible for internship and placement. Infosys, jp Morgan and other companies come for placement The highest package is 50 lpa and the average package is 8 lpa .

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

Civil faculties here are very good and practical applications are intresting. Professional communication mam is very good and you can learn a lot from her. Teaching method is easy for specific subjects. First mid sem is after 3 months of course start and second mid sem is 1 month after 1st mid sem and end sem is 2 months after 2nd mid sem

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
