My journey through NIT Agartala

At first I took chemical engineering by misinterpreting it as a part of chemistry but I was wrong but as I started learning about chemical engineering it eventually changed my perspective and chemical engineering is that course which fuels the world we got to know about different real life application of it and also petrochemical and medicine etc industries work how the equipment processes.

All of the students some how gets a way to do internship Because of our TnP and faculty advisor In our state there is basically 4-5 companies who provides internship to us such as ONGC,Neepco, Tripura State pollution control board and Calcutta polymer industries etc. Other than that you can get internship from many companies based on your merit

As nowadays recession is going all over our country but still the placement of our college this year has been quite good with almost 700 placements and an avarage salary of 7 to 8 lpa But most of the companies nowadays allows only circuit branches but still the placement of our branch was also good

The fee Structure depends on our economical background.There are basically 3 categories 1) Who's annual income is more than 5 lakh, 2) Family which has income between 1 to 5 lpa and 3)Those who have a income of less than 1lakh per annum.The tuition fee differs according to this categories. Other than tution fee there are various fee such as medical charges, Degree charges etc. There are so Many scholarship and scholarship section also helped us by providing information about those scholarship such as Ishan Uday, Post metric etc.

Sadly we didn't get to many of festivals during our course as for most of the time covid outbreak was there But still tech fest happens once in a year other than that viswakarma puja, Ganesh chaturthi also held in the college and we home state students also held some festival during our durga pujo.And farewell is also there The club's of Gymkhana such as drama club dance club all of them provided such a great entertainment during our college life

There is different quota for home states students the end semester exams are held in every 4 months each semester lasts for 4 months and 2 months vacation after the completion of the semester You can find the application from the official page of NIT Agartala The cutoff varies every time After getting your seat confirmed there is physical verification and semester fee payments

The faculty members of the department are very learned and efficient in their teaching process. They have the ability to break down complex things to simple ones and teach the student effectively. The ratio of faculty to student is 1:8. All facilities are highly specialised in their respective subjects and hold full credential to teach in the department. They also take care of students grievances and issues and address and interact regularly with the students to help them solve their doubt.
