Course Curriculum Overview

In BA programme, I have a range of subjects like hindi,english, economics, computer science and computer applications but my main disciplines are computer application and economics. As it is a programme course, the syllabus covers only basic concepts as compared to hons. course.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provide financial assisatance and scholarships through lot of schemes to economically weaker section, other backward class, SC and ST's although the fee was affordable but then also the college provides full financial support.

Campus Life

The college has several clubs like dance club, drama club, music club, NSS society and NCC society sports facilities and two election parties. The overall experience during the college life is great. The college also conduct fest every year also the infrastructure was very spacious and nice.

Admission

For taking admission in BA programme, Delhi University now considers the score of CUET and on the basis of your rank you get the college according to your preference. During my time, I got admission according to merit based system.

As the college offers a range of courses like B.Com B.Com hons BA programme, BA Hons, Ma Sanskrit, MA Hindi, the college has faculty members according to the courses. Most of them are persuing their P.hd's.

THE EXPERIENCE as of now

Placement Experience:

Being in my first year I really don't have an idea about these but the average package was around 7 lakh per annum. There's a placement cell in our college which provides information on job and internships opportunities. Furthermore this cell also organises an annual Internship and Career Fair.

The students become eligible for campus placement in the third year , i.e the 5th and 6th semester...I don't really have idea about the companies visited and no of offers made but my course gets the top placement about 6lk per year

From 5th semester onwards people become eligible for placement. Important companies are Accenture delloite etc highest package may be around 10-12lpa and average around 4-5lpa the placement rates are not that high. Many students enroll for higher education.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college.
