Likes
- NIT Rourkela is one of the top nits in India .It has a big campus of 1200 acres to roam around .it is an autonomous college with more benefits also .it has the most number of departments compared to any nit .
- You will get a tag of top nit which will be beneficial for future . placement opportunities are pretty well . During placement drive thare are also facilities such as guest houses where people can stay also for any parent visiting to their student .
- Clubs are very much active in nit rkl .you get to know about many things here .clubs will help you lot in your journey
Dislikes
- Although it is one of the top nits .it's administration is not so good
- 85% attendance rules sucks , also no semester exms gap are there . literally sem week hurts so much
- 1200 acre campus is good but when we go to daily by cycle we get tired .cycle is mandatory here
Course Curriculum Overview
First year courses are not that much relevant , but at the end we will learn so many things .as I'm from integrated msc but still I have to learn engineering subjects in first year which make me difficult some bit .
Internships Opportunities
Internship is pretty good , but as I'm in first year I don't have that much idea but students are there who do internship from Microsoft also. Stipend is also good Mostly people from cse background get more opportunities
Placement Experience
From pre final years placement starts at the end you will get placed surely if you are skilled enough . Offers are 900+ and some students have also 2 offers in a hand Google Microsoft Adobe also visit our campus 95% students are placed with 10+ lpa I'm planning to get placed in a good company
Fees and Financial Aid
Integrated bsc and msc tuition fees is less compared to btech whose fres is 67k per semester but my tuition fees is 7500 per semester .but medical fees SAC fees are not included in that .if I will include that it will be nearly 25k exceot hostel and mess fees

Hostel room gave one bed one study table one chair in first year hostel 4 person in 1 room Meal quality is good Menu is also good with 4 times a day meal Hostel is full of flowers and beautiful garden Swings also there Hostel registration is done with admission process it takes 3 mins only
Admission
For eligibllity you need to score atleast 90 percentile in jee main as I'm from odisha .state quota is applied so for safe score 94+ in jee main . For reservation there is homestaye quota female quota OBC SC St PWD quota you will get benifits there Exams occurs in 45 days mid sem and sem also classtests are there .you will get 4 mnths holidays in total in a year Admission process is quite good there is offline verification after councelling and that's it
Faculty
350+ faculties and 8000+ students . faculties are good here .they help at the time of need some of them are not so good Interaction is pretty well you can text them or mail them .i interact then during exams times
