Likes

The canteen food tasted really well , all the meals are highly affordable and hygienic
The college infrastructure is commendable. Filled with greenery and flowers

Dislikes

The staff is rude and lack sense of proffesionalism
The classes are not equipped with air conditioners and fans are also not in the working conditions at times
The washrooms are really poor. They lack basic hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview

I was a huge fan of Maths since high school, it had always been my top bestfriend. I made this decision because of my commendable score in Mathematics in class 12. Things definitely changed in grad school. And math surely became very difficult . But i never regret my choice

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the course is around 9,900 per annum making it around 30,000 for the entire course of 3 years which is really affordable. The college does not offer that level of attractive internship programs . But definitely a lot of events take place

Campus Life

My campus life was really great. I had a lot of fun. There are many clubs including theatre , dance , music, etc. Sports include basketball, badminton, volleyball. The campus is not that huge but still pretty tho

Admission

The admission process was merit based i.e based on our class 12 percentile. Which is quite the opposite now . Admissions now take placed on the basis of the CUET examination. The admission process is totally online and good too

Faculty

There is one lecturer for a class of 100 students which is really bad and highly irresponsible. The teachers are surely friendly but there is no one on one interaction which makes it highly difficult to understand new concepts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
