I didn't know much about the course when i opt for it but later on our teachers helped and explained us about everything
I really loved the hostel I got it's very near to my college and have good facilities

Dislikes

I didn't liked the food there the mess n canteen.
There was no any other things that i didn't liked.
I didn't liked the classrooms there was no proper place to take lectures.

So basically i didn't know what occupational therapy was but when i understand tht it has psychology subject in it thn i decided to take it. Occupational therapist helps people in being independent after they have been injured or anything. I love this course because we give activities to patients and through that we give therapies and that's a good thing.

Internships Opportunities

This course provides Internship for 6 months and gives salary of 7000. But you get so much of awareness and experience for working. They provide 6 months internship in different different departments like orthopaedics neurology pediatrics psychiatry hospital also cardiac medicine surgery.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is good in our college the fees are less compared to outside colleges, and they also provide scholarships and there is also concession available. Fees are 20000 and they keep decreasing as each semester passes.

Campus Life

Our college have varieties of events and so much of fun. There's plexus and many more in which u all can participate and all Then there are game nights music nights many more things. There's a big Library and have all the books u need and Library also provide books for financially unstable students to take books from book bank for studying.

Admission

To take the Admission we have to answer neet exam and this course comes under Allied health sciences so one has to choose what course they want. Eligibility is based on the neet cut off. Reservation seats are also there.

Faculty

So to talk about our faculty members, there are 3 of our main faculties and they all are very helpful. They have very unique kind of teaching styles and they make u understand very well. All 3 of them use different kind of strategies to teach. They never make u feel that you are a failure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Me choosing this course was totally interest oriented as I wanted anything that would include medical science wherein Ill be able to help the people who would suffering through certain problems Our course is eye related and provides the primary care and diagnoses related to refractive error and other ocular diseases The difficulty is not as harsh as MBBS course bt is not as that easy as well so one shouldbnot take the course easy and sincerely give in their hundred percent in it

Exploring the only medical college in goa

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very vast and sometimes not really reciprocating the future career point of view. More focus on the indian context rather then the Western is needed. Curriculum should be more focused on what the scope of the course is rather then focusing on the wider aspects. And the teaching methods need a lot of improvements, such as the students should be given the top priority and not the syllabus. Giving incomprehensible assignment won't help much rather having interactive sessions and faculties actually taking efforts and making the presentations rather then putting it on the students will really help a lot. Exams are very distored one semester sometimes take more then 6 months and sometimes the semester is rushed within just a month or so. Students have no idea when the college will place their next exams. No regular updates are provided regarding the facilities provided in the college.

Bachelor of optometry in Goa medical college

I wanted to try for armed forced medical college as I wanted to serve the army along with the medicine and other requirements but was not possible as I couldn't score much in neet and I had to settle for whatever I was getting and I was happy with it.
