Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am from the Chemical Engineering stream. The diverse career opportunities in chemical engineering influenced me to make this decision. Chemical engineers work in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, environment protection, etc. Chemical engineers often find their skills in high demand which helps them to land a well-paying job. Chemical Enginners play a crucial role in sustainable processes and technologies. The teaching method of professors is also good they provide gate level knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As an intern, we have companies like Tata Steel, JSL, JUSCO, Technip, and some more companies which come every year and gives internship. Apart from this in our college, we have Siemens lab where we can learn many courses. The tasks that we get as an intern depends on the company and the department.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of our college is very good. Companies like Tata Steel, Vedanta, JSW, JSL, Tata Power, Technip, ABG, Samsung, Deloitte, etc. come to our college. they give good offers and take a good amount of students. About 90% got placed in my branch. The highest package was of Vadeanta 13 LPA. My plan after my degree is to work in any company that is engaged in the energy sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure includes tuition fees- 32 for girls and 7700 for boys, Examination fees 4000, medical fees 500, and other fees 7632 and apart from this we have hostel maintenance fees 7000, electricity fee 2500, mess fee for one mont 3900. Here we get many scholarships like e Kalyan, Manki Munda Scholarship, and even alumni help their respective branch students in their study.

Campus Life

4.5

My overall experience with college life is good. I am a member of 3 clubs and they helped me a lot to improve my skills. There are many clubs for which you have to give pi and gd. On the basis of your performance, you get inducted. The infrastructure of the college is not so good.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel gives accommodation to 3-4 girls in a room. The room is spacious and the facilities provided are also good. Mess quality is also good and the menu includes a variety of things we get different items like biryani, chola bhatura, etc.

Admission

The admission process is very simple. For admission, we require a JEE Mains result and we need to apply on the JCECEB website where the application process is very easy you just need to have a local residence certificate of Jharkhand and a good percentile according to your category.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is good here like in my branch we are 113 and accordingly 7 professors are allocated every semester. The professors are highly qualified and they have good knowledge of the subject. They are very supportive likre they help students to prepare for GATE examination and for further studies. We regularly interact with professors. From Monday to Saturday, we have daily classes in both halves which helps us to clear our doubts and learn more. Every department has its library where we can study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
