Dislikes
- Everything has it's own pros and cons. About my college I feel like the placement cell isn't doing good enough
- The canteen facilities are not good now as most of the times they are out of stock, they don't have variety
- My college doesn't provide NOC which was really problematic for me at one time as I wanted to do internship
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really good as because of NEP 2020 we get insights in a lot of things and domains, for example, I am pursuing B.Com(H) still I get to study EVS, Hindi, digital marketing, digital empowerment, culture and communication etc. The course also helps us to build our personality and make us understand about the communication too, for eg. We study emotional intelligence, communication in every day life, personality development subjects. The paper pattern is also good as it isn't difficult but one has to study because it's conceptual based. I closed this course because I have a keen interest in finance and accounts. However there are not good placements and salary package after normal B.com(h) , one has to do some extra courses or grasp internship to get something in near future out of your course. Rest it depends upon your capabilities and skills how you can crack the interview.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very affordable. It is Approximately 24000 for a year, they take it once but for every semester exam we have to pay fees for exam filling form which is of maximum 2000 rupees depending on the practical subject one has. Still it is really affordable as there are no extra fees other than course and exam form filling. However there are many scholarships available for the students who can't afford it. Delhi University is itself prestigious so one can get the scholarship after passing the minimum criteria every scholarship has. Tata, like companies provide scholarships of approximately 40000-50000 per year for students. The college's job opportunities are moderately good. One can get 300000-400000 p.a after cracking interview.
Campus Life
The campus life is so good comprising of greenery, multiple grounds for students to sit and play games like badminton, lot of flowers and a small nursery is there. It completely soothes the soul. The infrastructure is good but many of times there's water shortage or the water isn't clean and hygienic enough to drink. There are fests that occurs during February, March-April month every year. Singers visits like recently ajay hooda visited. There are many societies in the college too.
Admission
For admission in Delhi University one has to give CUET exam conducted by NTA, before that one has to fill form according to the last date of CUET exam form filling. After giving exam he/she will get the score and the cutt off varies from year to year, and depends on the number of students giving exam. Then one has to fill the form for entering into admission process and cut off rounds.
Faculty
The faculties are very good and knowledgeable. Many of them have completed their PH.D and many of them comes from a very prestigious college like SRCC, Shahid Sukhdev college of business studies of Delhi University. Many are pursing their professional courses like CA,CS or PH.D. They provide ample of knowledge and till now I have got the faculties who taught me really well. They participate in the conferences and let us also engage so that we can also get insights and increase our public speaking. They encourage students and are approachable. Faculties encourages us to participate in extracurriculars and add on courses provided by college. However some aren't really understanding as if you don't attend their lectures they can fail you literally as it happened with one of my friend who got an ER just because he didn't attend classes. Rest faculties are ready to understand the student's issues even takes retest again and again so that everyone can perform well and no one fails.
