VIIT College honest review

Our college follows SPPU syllabus but has their own developed curriculum and it is really very good. We have real world subject like Linux , python, app development, hackings in the first year itself. From first year we have been assigned respective departments unlike other colleges and every department has their respective curriculum even for first year students which is good practically.

College have a policy of compulsory internship in third year.College provides internship opportunity from beginning of 3rd year to many students but if you did not get any internship there you will have to look into outside world for internship which is not very hard at place like pune so not a very huge thinyto worry about

Placement for our college is held at Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology which also comes in the same trust as our college's trust (BRACT). Companies come just from the start of 3rd year and start giving internship opportunities and you have to compulsorily take atleast one internship opportunity provided.

Our fees is Around 1lakh 70 thousand. That can be paid using installments or can be given at one time both will cost the same. We have scholarships based on reservations only like obc sc st PWD etc.There aren't any real campus employment opportunities that are paid or provides scholarship.

Campus life is good for studies and overall there is studious atmosphere in the college but if you want fjn in college like huge events and overall life then it's not a good option to choose as events are conducted like 'GANDHARVA' but they are not that big.

I took college hostel. The Hostel is 3km away from college and believe me you can't eat in that mess ( it's a mess). You are provided with breakfast and dinner no lunch no snacks and infrastructure of hostel is good

The admission to this college can be done through Maharashtra government conducted CAP round counseling for which you either have to give CET or JEE Mains. Cet cutoff for computer engineering will be 97%ile and jee cutoff for computer Engineering will be 93%ile. The admission process is very lengthy and takes lots of documents to be submitted and there are huge gaps between each Rounds of counseling. You can also take admission through spot round conducted by the college and forms for which will be available on college website

The faculty is well educated and has deep knowledge in their respective subjects,some also have phD degrees and are very good in teaching.They provide support in projects that we are developing and are lenient.
