What Students Say

Likes

The faculty is really good and they have a good knowledge in their fields and are really experienced.
The overall environment is really good academically.

Dislikes

No Air Conditioners in BCA building and old wooden benches which are not really comfortable.
Sports culture is almost negligible.

Course Curriculum Overview

The subjects taught in the course are mostly relevant. But some of the technologies taught are old but they form a basic building blocks for newer technologies. The frequency of exams is normal, midsems are taken during the mid sem time and endsems at the end, between which presentations, quiz, and class tests are taken regularly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placements are not really good actually. The avg placement for BCA course is around 4LPA. But if you go for masters after completing your BCA you can get a good placement. Highest package offered was around 16LPA for BCA. My plans after completing BCA is to go abroad for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete cost of education is around INR 4,20,000. Fees hikes are according to GGSIPU fees. Scholarships are okayish and financial aids are given to weaker sections. On campus placements are not really good.

Campus Life

Campus is not really big. The campus its decent and there's not much. Sports is not really a thing in this college its basically completely academics only. Fests are not so special either. Anugoonj takes place in GGSIPU main campus dwaraka in march.

Admission

Admission process was really easy. First IPCET entrance exam has to be given according to your desired course. Difficulty is not much its actually really easy. Admission is done according to your rank in the IPCET exams. Cutoffs for BCA course was around 500. Reservation is also available.

Faculty

4.5

The Faculty to student is okayish can't say great. But the faculty is really experienced and have a good knowledge on their fields. They know how to communicate and they teach really good. We can interact with the faculty almost anytime, we can comtact them on whatsapp too they respond whenever they get time...

"Convenient and recognised distance learning"

Likes

My overall experience a IGNOU has been good the universities very helpful for students who want flexible and affordable education along with other responsibilities
The study material provided by IGNOU is detailed and easy to understand and the examination process is transparent
One of the best thing about IGNOU is its low fee structure and flexibility in learning

Dislikes

However there are some areas that need improvement sometime the administrative process can be slow and getting quick responsive from study centre may take time
Campus life is limited compared to regular colleges because IGNOU mainly focus on distance learning
Placement support exist but is not a strongest regular University so students upon need to rely on their own skills and efforts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would read the IGNOU courses curriculum has good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the syllabus is well structured and design for distance learning with study material explain concept clearly and support service study this flexibility and affordability for the main reason I choose this course the curriculum provides are strong theoretical foundation and is useful for father studies as well as basic professional knowledge how ever Addy more practical exposure life internet is session and update industrial oriented content could make the course even better IGNOU conductor and examination twice a year along with compulsory assignment that contribute to the final marks the exam schedule is convenient and difficulty level is moderates student to follow the study materials and cement on the time can clear the exam without much difficulty or all the curriculum is student friendly relevant and su suitable for learner who prefer flexible higher education while managing other responsibilities.

Faculty gives you a practical implementation and for your betterment always

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was very old I think there was a change in syllabus and activities for the students. Provide practical knowledge and work on skills development rather then written knowledge Because skills helps for placement not anything else.

BVIMR REVIEW

Likes

Canteen was really good, various variety of veg and non-veg food was available
Library was a good place to study and concentrate
Ground area was very big to take a stroll

Dislikes

Too much academic pressure was put as there were exams every 2 weeks
There were no events held through out the 3 years
Very bad placement cell, no opportunities for placement at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was not up to date at all, the languages taught are outdated, I had to persue courses from institutions to gain experience. Very little practical knowledge was given in each subject, the subjects were taught from theory point of view

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I wanted to develop skills in the IT sector. There are 7 teachers and 66 students. Teachers are good in nature and teach us practically which boost our skill and is also helpful for learning.

Maharaja Surajmal Institut in its Raw Version.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted. Overall, the eligibility and admission process are quite transparent and ensure that deserving students with strong academic backgrounds get a fair chance to join the program....Read More
