Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum prepares the students very well according to the academies and also for the real life experiences which comes from the teaching methods of the professors. The exams are held according to the completion of syllabus and the difficulty level is not so much it is easy overall.

Internships Opportunities

I don't have much information but yes I know this that they took interview according to the students marks and then trained them for the futute experiences with which they are aided in their career options

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester the students are offered placements and internships. Companies from TATA, Wipro, etc. offers according to the capabilities and the marks of course no supplies are to be entertained. The half of the percent are placed usually un interns from the applied ones

Fees and Financial Aid

I must say in spite of having numerous scholarship programs the college is quite expensive it costs overall 1 to 1.5 lakhs for the whole course. The scholarships are like SVMCM and many more other scholarships.

Campus Life

Yes of course this college is known for events and festivals. Most famous festive is RIPPLES cross the city it is so famous many colleges comes for inter competition here on the dates. Sports and tournaments are also held here

Admission

The admission process is very ease firstly the application form is to be filled which costs around 200 then the merit lists are published then the students are to be take admission accordingly. Yes, the reservations are their but yes there is a exceptional i. e, the students from same school are given compulsory seats if they want so

Faculty

Faculty members are just apt according to the no. Of students. They are highly qualified and are very approachable which mentors students in a very prominently. We can interact with them more often as possible

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. the reality of kd college

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.

You need to score a minimum of 75% aggregate in your board exams to get into our college.
