Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is detailed the first two years mainly first year had been about various topic like art, social economics reforms discussion and how our country is different from others across the globe and how indians adapt to situations differently with statistics involved. The second year started off with academic advancement and got a little tougher to manage in terms of the amount of fests SJCC holds but however, its relevancy is unmatched

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships just come in line witht the academics and they make sure you do internships and get certification for the same for your college degree to come in hand. So, plenty of opportunities pop and you have to just grab them

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are amazing but dont let you sit for them if you have backlogs but some companies go beyond it as well but the basic rules stay the same and expect the students to match it as well. I had many friends who got placed in good companies through my college placements

Fees and Financial Aid

In terms with fees and financial standings I believe sjcc is very understanding and gives room for students from different background to be involved and let them adjust accordingly. If the fee is not payed they block the hall ticket just like every other college but all lend ears to understand the delay for the same and every other payment is legitimate is what i felt

Campus Life

4.5

As mentioned before first 2 years of college was where i learnt the most in terms of cultural and club involvement they provide attendance for the same but lost that aspect in the last year and i feel sjcc soul resides in being culturally ahead and with sports as well. However i dont hear the same from the students who are currently in sjcc but my point of view has been with it being the best in what we do as we won all the college fests we went to and thats what helps a college build its reputation and not just placements and marks on the sheet

Admission

I joined during the pandemic and they do have a look at your ethnic and religious background rigoury and thats like a process for jusuit institutions and the public is aware about it as well and being prestigious college the admission process is tough and strict but interms with the cut off they also check how capable is student and what vapue he or she can bring to the institution once they have been enrolled

Faculty

4

The ratio is pretty good as living in india we are habituated to sitting in classes of students being 30-40+ so ig 72 wasnt big difference and ig thats one factor that makes college a "college" per say. However, teachers made it even more fun and made sure we stay hooked across the class some teachers specifically in subjects that are practical solving need to pay more attention in providing a method which is easier or say more adaptable and efficient for the students otherwise i have no complaints against the faculty as such

Placement Experience:

Almost all of the students are placed in multinational corporations, and the education is seriously excellent. In addition, the college provides placement training, which helped students during their placement interview sessions. The average pay package offered to 80 percent of the campus's students in my class was 3 lacs per annum. However the highest package offered was 10 lacs. Every year, many students are placed in companies such as HCL, TCL, Infosys, Wipro, and others. I wanted to go for further studies so I did not appear in the placement drive. However most of my friends who sat in the placement round, got selected at multinational companies.
