Likes

Research laboratory are equipped with lots of equipment.
Environment of our hostel is good. No ragging will be done inside the campus.
Professors are highly qualified in our department.

Dislikes

Unavailability of playground, more playground are required.
Placement scenario are not much satisfying.
Cricket ground must be built inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

In 1st year overall eveyone are getting taught with same curriculum while from second year core subjects of specific brenches are introduced. Teaching methods are good and sufficient labs are provided to enhance our knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Mainly government psus internship opportunities ( such as Ongc, Iocl) are provided by college. Now some private companies like halliburton logging services, Sun petro are also providing opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year there is hike of approximately 10 thousand rupees in tution fees. Our college provide scholarships like (merit cum means) to those students which mostly belong from weaker section and top 10 percent in their specific branch.

Campus Life

There are various clubs in our college such as Sports club, Music club, Dance Club, science & technical club, social club, There are more than 20 student chapters such as SPE, SEG, FIPI, GFG, AAPG , EAGE etc.

Hostel Facilities

Beds and Study tables with chairs are provided in our hostel. Mainly double sharing rooms are available inside the campus for students. Mess quality and menu is overall good in comparison to other colleges.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Any one can take admission through their jee advanced exams, those who are qualified in jee advanced exam and also more than 75% in cbse board exam or some different rules for particular state board exams.

Faculties in our college for petroleum and chemical departments are highly qualified and the ratio of faculty to students are good. But in other departments like Computer Science, IT, M&C, ECE,EV need to be improve.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit the university including tcs, wipro, Accenture, Harman, Amdocs and they give on average of 4-5LPA. The highest packet would be arounf 35-40LPA and it was off campus. around 70 percent of the students get placed. I am working now

Reasonable Fees and best studies overall a good college

Placement Experience:

the placements are quite good based on students skills and knowledge. from the 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placements the companies like Autodesk,Trilogy,Webcool, and many more companies with average offers of 28LPA to 35LPA. this year average package is around 6-7LPA. the placements percentage varies per year but on average it is 60-70%

Placement Experience:

the students are eligible for campus placement in the last semester. the companies mostly visits the campus are Wipro,HCL ,TCS and many more. the highest package from this college was 10 /Lpa and the average one is 4.3/lpa. the percentage of students getting placed is 80%. I will manage my father's business after completing this degree.

KNIT SULTANPUR IS A GOOD COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . This year many companies have visited here like wipro,hcl,etc and the average package is 8 lpa and percentage of students placed are 15 to 20 percent.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

For all the colleges I have applied I decided to go with this college as it is an institute of national importance and it appeared more appealing compared to colleges that i was getting. RGIPT expensive education , low placement support

chose RGIPT for strong core engineering and PSU placements , applies to IITS/NITS but missed cutoffs.RGIPT admission via JEE mains rang + adv rank :decent cutoff . compared to other ,RGIP has niche focus , good facult , but less city exposure and less placements...Read More

Honest Review Of RGIPT

The most important thing that mattered to my parents which caused them to take interest in this college was that it is a central government college and an institute of national importance on top of that. Also, other colleges I was getting were either too far away or were very expensive. Although according to a government college, RGIPT's fees is also very high but still lesser when compared to the others I was applying to. For admission, we have to fill out the form. The eligibility criteria is that you should have JEE Advanced rank. If the seats after allocation through Advanced are vacant, those are filled through JEE mains rank. Cutoff varies per year so there is no particular trend as such as far as I have noticed. Overall admission experience was good and easy too....Read More

I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
