- I overall liked the infrastructure of the university and varying faculties and associate colleges. Also the historic presence of the institution is unmatched being on of the oldest institution since 1887.
- The faculties are superb and well trained professionals whether it's practical or theoretical class.
- University consist of a central library which can be accessed by the students for their mental upliftment and having a sports board also gives opportunities for sport interactions.
Dislikes
- Majorly the staff at procedural works are slow and does not provide that much satisfaction.
- Institution doesn't have any overall closed campus which makes it a hackle for students .
Course Curriculum Overview
University of Allahabad ranks in top of the institutions which provides psychology as a course with world class infrastructure and facilities. The course structure complies of 3 subjects with 1 as main and the other two as options . The length of the course stretches upto 3 years . And basic fee is around 4000 per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
The university do provide placements in private firms like HDFC and TCS . The placement drive runs after course completion. University also provide scholarship on the basis of income, academics . This scholarship goes upto 25k .
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been enriching and diverse. The social aspects of campus life have been particularly significant in shaping my educational journey. I have been actively involved in various clubs and extracurricular activities that have allowed me to explore my interests, develop new skills, and expand my horizons. One of the key aspects of campus life that I have appreciated is the vibrant student organizations and activities. These have included student government associations, leadership courses and retreats, social change projects, service opportunities, and cultural events. These activities have not only enhanced my personal growth but also provided opportunities for civic engagement and leadership development.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has a good accomodation more and less of typical government hostel . The hostels for professional courses have a good infrastructure rather than the normal ones . The message where as works for 2 meals a day and doesn't provide any breakfast .
Admission
The University takes Admission through CUET and The admission process was a little hectic but after that it was a pleasent experience. It took me around 700/800 marks for the admission in the entrance.
Faculty
The faculties are NET And PHD qualified professionals which are best suitable for one's academics. A mixed Faculty from Young to Aged which provides allover academic support and growth. Friendly and warm behaviour of the faculties make the environment more comfortable and peaceful.
