Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course here is Cbcs(which refers to choice based curriculum system) and this was the main reason why I opted for this institute. In this it is at par with the IIT's and NIT's.In cbcs you can choose what you want to learn and the university also provides you an option to do minor in one of the subjects. Sometimes you might feel that teaching method is very old and it need to be changed and student professor interaction should be increased. There will be 2 quizzes,1 mid sem and final sem at an interval of one month.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Atlansian, Microsoft, reliance industries and many other companies provide internship with stipend in the college you need not to worry about that if your academics are good you will secure one good job.microsoft provides sde intern post and atlansian also recruits for software developer post.companies like reliance, tata are there for core students like eee,ece and thus the college provides equal opportunity to each one of their students.

Placement Experience

3

From 6th semester onwards you will start getting internship opportunities from companies like atlansian, reliance industries, Microsoft which is quite commendable.Full time placement opportunity you will get in your second last and last semester. Here 65 percent students are getting placed as the market situation currently is not very good. After degree I want to work as a software developer in one of the top companies and for that I am learning something new about technology each day.

Fees and Financial Aid

Look at the start only you will be given the fee structure of your course for four years and it will not increase. The total fees for B.E btech is around 18 lakhs .It is overpriced but you can take bank loan SBI is available in the college campus and it provides loan with minimum documents. Second thing there is also Birla scholarship program which provides scholarship to meritorious students .It has a total fund of about 2 crores. In campus I have joined 2 clubs over here Edc and leo club i currently holding a post of member in both of these clubs .

Campus Life

4

My experience in this college has been quite good. Its annual fest is named bitotsav which is held in March for 3 days. Many famous celebrities also visit the college campus during this time and you will enjoy the time. It's technical fest is named Pantheon and it is held in October so it will be fun for you to try to participate in as much activities as you can. The library here is quite big and provides approx. everything that you need to study you can also sit there and read (8 am to 9 pm). You will have to issue a library card to avail of the library services which is free of cost. The are many clubs in this college having their own domain speciality and it is also a major place of social interactions in the college. Some of the clubs are edc, Leo, IETE, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostels here are quite neat and clean. But in the first year, you will have to share your room with someone. purified drinking water is provided. There are also geysers in the bathroom so you do not need to worry during winters. there is also one one laundry man who will come twice a week. The meal is provided 4 times a day including evening snacks the mess menu is decided by the students only and thus the food is quite tasty and you will not miss your home. the registration process is very simple during admission only they will allot you a room and you need to go and submit the form to the hostel clerk.

Admission

First of all, for admission in btech courses, you need to give jee main and qualify in it. Then through jossa counseling, you can be admission into this college. Jee mains is held 2 times in one year and it is conducted by nta after qualifying for this exam you are eligible to go for jossa counseling which will start after the result of jee mains on the jossa website and its application form is free of cost you don't need to pay anything for this. After coming to this college here you will see some management quota students.

Faculty

3

The faculty members are too qualified like they have a PhD and they often publish their research papers and the student-to-faculty ratio is around 120:1. But their teaching methods are too old and you have to learn on your own many things if you want to excel in your career. Teachers here will guide you to what to learn and will help you during placement.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

On-campus placements are provided to pretty much everyone in the college. With one of the highest percentages of students getting placed, yet the average CTC offered is not up to loving standards, a lot of students opt for higher studies and IAS preparation after college.

We had very little companies for placement ibm and hcl came for bpo jobs.. About 80% left with no jobs after completing the session... Very poor placement opportunities. After completing the jobs most of us went to banglore for searching jobs... We had placement if any after completing 8 semesters We had ibm and hcl but they asked for donations before giving jobs. Packages were 3.6 Lakh to 5 Lakh per year. Overall 20% got placement. I prepared for Government exams after completing my degree.
