Remarks

If you want to finish your BE in the state this is the best option besides the universities. Vasavi, srinidhi are also good, but the c bit is a bit. You will get a lot of exposure. Now the college is autonomous. And the environment is good. It is on the c

Entrance Preview

i took EAMCET in 2008 and secured rank 266 and i opt for ECE as it was the best private college in the state then. the admission process is through EAMCET exam conducted by the state and there will be some management quota also for who did not took EAMCET.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I took VLSI as electivethere are 8 subjects in 1st year. and remaining there years you will have two semesters per year.

Internships Opportunities

There are no internship programs available as per my knowledge. So there will not be any stipend. Students who met some eligibility criteria will be getting state scholarship

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement cell is very good. You get to face interviews until you get a job. I mean there are n number of companies that will come to spit. CTS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, wells forgo, pega, delete, cash, bank of America, JP Morgan, Microsoft.. etc are some among offering jobs to cse&ece people. Core company opportunities are limited. There might be two or three.

College Events

3.5

The biggest cultural event of c bit is carpedium and the budget for this test will go to 80lacs then. Carpedium will be celebrated once in 4years and Sruthi another cultural feast once in two years. Every department will have their technical feats

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my time it was like 35k per year and that will account to around 1.5less per total course. And for B category seats it was like 1lac per year. But I heard that now I t is 1 Lac plus for general category alone

Fees and Financial Aid

No, as of my knowledge, there is nonunion. As of my knowledge, there is nonunion. As of my knowledge, there is nonunion. As of my knowledge, there is nonunion. As of my knowledge, there are none

Campus Life

2.5

The college conducted extracurricular activities, there are many. Camunicando, Chaitanya smruthi are some groups. There will not be in discrimination towards race, religion, ethnicity or gender. They're a good cricket ground, basketball court, indoor for badminton, caroms, table tennis etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

There you get a separate hostel for boys and girls just a kilometer from the college. Even though it is run by some private contractors, collage management has the control on these.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is somewhat poor. There will be some get to gathers happens and these all depends on the active people in the batch. Last year there was one alumni gathering, but I have not attended due to my work.

Exam Structure

Exams are fun. As it is affiliated to Osmania university, you will get at least 3 day gap to every exam. You can finish few of your favorite novels in the exam times.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very good. There are PhD holders and my department faculty are good in knowledge expect few. The faculty will help you in every aspect. The faculty per student ration is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
