Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Mine curriculum was Economics (hons.) and the application of economics in world's economy, influence me to study this programme. Basically this course is application based in real world and Satyawati faculty make me in interest to study. But there are lag also in curriculum like introduction of PSUs internship provided by college to understand the application of economics.

Internships Opportunities

4

Government sector offers internship opportunities like Department of commerce under ministry of finance, Niti aayog internship program, Private firms like DLF, Excel, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and more offer internship program with ten thousand and more stipend.

Placement Experience

3

Placement program also conducted by college and placement cell contact all interested students in your final semester of last year of course. Many companies like ICICI BANK, Excel international, MasterCard, DLF etc. Around 20-25 percent students gets placement. My plan is further studies in the field of Economics.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

During my time tution fee was around seven thousand per semester and I got central scholarship assistance and many other scholarship assistance programs to meet your needs. The college also organises placement program and placement cell society available too to address your problem and queries.

Campus Life

4.5

Every year the annual fest, and festivals also celebrate, and weekly conference held in auditorium with subject field specialist. Option of E-liberay and e-learning. NSS and NCA facility also there. Large football facade and cricket ground, basketball court, and bedminton court also. Many social clubs called by societies in music, drama, dance, poetry etc.

Admission

During my time before COVID there are no entrance examinations but now NTA conducts the CUET exam to get admission. Application form fill via CUET website. Applicants should focus on all the areas that mentioned in syllabus to get admission unless you lagged.

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio is quite good 1/10 but not compete to world class ratio, but faculty approach to handle students, to teach students, and still now we are connected, this thing shows the how interactive faculty are there

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.
