Likes

Very nice college atmosphere and facilities.
Plenty of computer labs for research and practicals.

Dislikes

Some security guards have a kind of tone which is very annoying.
Few rules that doesn't make any sense to anyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some subject doesn't make any sense with the stream we have chosen but there is nothing we can do about it. We are computer students but we had to study civil engineering in first year that was a waste they could've teach us some computer based things.

Internships Opportunities

Last year we had internship from tiltedu about game development and many students participated in it. And many students applied for external internships in various other topics sucha as machine learning,web development etc.

Placement Experience

Our college has made a tie up with a external company for placement training and it is going well. An interview consist of various stages and different teachers from the company are teaching things for each steps of the interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for merit and management seats but not available for NRI seats. For one year NRI fees is same for everyone approx 1,82,000 and other fee may vary if you have supplementary subjects or yearbacks

Campus Life

Our tech fest Brahma is the best program in the whole year. It is a 3 day program which conduct amazing programs to find the best performers from various colleges. There is also cash prize for each event.

Hostel Facilities

A room consist of 3 beds and there is common bathroom. The mess is operated by us students and food is good. One thing bad about food is that it is vegetarian food only. Rooms and bathroom are clean .

Admission

I had great marks in plus two exam and in keam also I did well. I came to know about this college through my father's colleague and he knew a faculty in this college and he arranged seats for me.It was simple procedures.

Faculty

Few faculties are very friendly and they teach very well and are approachable for any help. We even celebrate their birthdays and buy cakes for them. Some teachers are so kind that they won't scold or punish.

Interview Experience

There was no interview or group discussion we had to bring some necessary documents such as SSLC certificate tc,ce aadhar passport size photo we had to fill a form that was the only thing we had to write.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

An Emerging student rising from a million opportunity

I applied to MITS, Fisat, and Rajagiri and Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. These were the top 3 collages in my area in the field of CSE. I only got confirmation from Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. Yes i did get rejection from other collages due to my low keam scores. Admission process is simple with keam having priority. Rest of the seats are reserved for management and NRI. I accepted cse exams and curriculum.
