The management and faculties are very supportive in extra carricular activities like sports etc.
The college environment is very beautiful

There is a long way to walk to reach the college after getting down from the bus
All pipes in the washroom are not working at all
There is a long distance to walk to reach the bus stop from college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is relevant in the present scenario. In the era of electric vehicles, the electrical and electronics engineers have more chances to get good jobs at best package. And i am very happy to be an electrical engineer.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The government fee is 75000 Rs per month. But the college provide extra deduction in the fee in the basis of the marks the students earned in the higher secondary level of education. This is very helpful.

Campus Life

There are lots of clubs in our college. IEEE, GDSC, National Service Scheme (NSS) . In our college there are cricket, football, basketball, kho kho and volleyball teams. Our cricket team won runner up in ktu d zone cricket tournament in 2024

Admission

To get admission the students want to pass in the kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance exam KEAM. To pass in the exam the students just want to score 10 marks. The KEAM exam is based on the chemistry, physics and maths we studied in the plus two.

Faculty

All the faculties are very supportive and they encourages in curriculums and extra carriculus activities. The cultural and technical fest call BRAHMA is one of the fantastic and fantabulous event in our college

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. I've heard that our college provide better placements compared to other colleges and the campus life is almost good so I choose this college. Mostly students prefer KEAM exam to get admission and cutoff is about 20k. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
