Likes
- I really liked the campus, very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly teachers and staffs, canteen is also great. There is a great ambience for studying.
- The hostel facilities are also great, there is a big seperate study hall and also a mess hall. The thing i liked more about hostel is its hygiene. There are several staffs to clean the whole hostel everyday including bathrooms.
- The campus is eco friendly filled with trees and plants, there is a nature club to maintain these things also the campus is plastic free. The college bus services around 50 kilometers from the campus which is a huge plus point
Dislikes
- The sports facilities are concentrated on mainly kabaddi and doesn't give equal importance to other sports like football, cricket, table tennis etc. There are facilities but the support is minimal.
- The structure of the building blocks are very confusing and it's difficult to understand the architecture behind it.
- The transport facilities other than the college bus is not that good. The public transport is always very crowded and very few private buses in time to time
Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to take this course because i was always very passionate about computer and technologies. This course mainly theory oriented, as you will study all the needed things theoretically. The practical or technical practice is not that great. It would have been better if it gave more practical knowledge and trainings related with real world applications. The conduction of exam is very strict and punctual as there is plenty study leave.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is scholarships on the basis of 12th level marks and also for students who came from low class families. The complete cost of my education will be around 4 lakhs including hostel fees. There is seperate fees for cultural fest, tech fest etc. Also the scholarship will cancel once the student fails in any subject. There is government scholarship worth of Rs 20000 for day scholars and Rs 25000 for hostelers which is very helpful for the students.
Campus Life
The campus life is great as there are many cultural, technical and sports programs. The tech fest is conducted every year named KAPRICIOUS and there are cultural fest named adharva. The college students union never disappoints with there excellence in conducting these programs fulfilling the students expectations.
Admission
All students who've had good marks in 12th standard are eligible for the course. My admission was on management quota. I had to pay the full fees of 72,000 excluding the donation fees which is around 10,000 and NRI fees of 50,000 as i hadn't written KEAM entrance exam. Faculty
The faculties are very well educated and there are many faculties who have doctorate on their respective fields. The faculties are very friendly at the same time serious also. They are passionate about their job and is not working only for money. They interact with students quite well and doesn't pressurize students to study every time.
