The faculties are good and they have good teaching skill
The hostel is good and clean also have good food
The college has a beautiful campus and library

Canteen is okay but not very good and not has so many items

Course Curriculum Overview

Our 2019 scheme is not that good new 2024 curriculum is good which give more practical knowledge to students and the teaching methods are okay but college conducts exam twice a month which gives very stress

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't do any internship programs but faculties encourages us to do internships and ao many students are doing internship in the semester break there are some alumni that helps us to get internship

Placement Experience

This college as a decent placement cell and companies like tcs and other good companies are recruiting students from here and the average salary package is about 500000 and students are mainly placed in software field

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 72500 for computer science and for the first it is 82500 the extra 10000 is caution deposit and there is no extra fees and also sholarship is provided like mcm and also there is a scholarship for management students

Campus Life

Here techfest are conducted yearly and has good programs also there are so many career development classes available here and also sports programs are also conducted regularly and there are groups like ieee and iedc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is neat and clean the hostel gets cleaned daily and the mess food is good the only problem is that there is time restrictions on the hostel and the hostel fees is about 1700 rent and mess fees also a caution deposit if 13000

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I got here by merit and i had only low rank in keam entrance in my opinion this is one of the best college to get if you have low rank and also management seats are also available and admission process is simple

Faculty

The faculties are good and has good teaching skill but some of the teachers are irritating and the curriculum is tough because of ktu and college conducts exams regularly and it gives stress to the students

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

An average college.

My college is situated so there is lot to explore there. We have separate buildings for every courses. The lab was very good. The college environment was very neat and tidy. The college also provided with a good canteen. Although the overall teaching quality is good, some aspects need improvements. The college is a Muslim management college. The management's attitude is like if we want to study we can,if we don't they won't pressure us. There was no other complications in taking admission in my college, everything was very easy.
