To be honest the curriculum is pretty much outdated as the university needs to bring out an updated one bacsue the technology trends are changing day by day but the syllabus is not upto the mark. We cant blame the college for that but the university should be held responsible for the outdated syllabus. The teaching method is so nice that teachers are so educated.

The placements are good and about 60 percent of the students get placed, with the majority of them being in the computer science department. Companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. are placing students whose main roles are in the software field and the majority of them are from CS.

Kmea engineering college is a campus filled with serenity and green beauty. Good faculties and college facilities. Admissions to B.Tech Programmes are strictly based on merit through Govt. Quota and Management Quota. 50 % Govt. Quota seats and 50% Management Quota seats (including NRI Quota seats). I am studying for SFE ; tuition fees for 1st year is 32000, special fee 10000 and other fee is 25200 Total fee for 1st year is 67700. Second year onwards the fees will be varying from 67700 to 55400. KMEA Engineering College has got a strong and full-fledged Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) with a full time Placement Officer. Regular placement oriented training programmes imparted from semester one onwards. All students registered with CGPU will be provided placement assistance, counseling for employment and self/Social entrepreneurship. The CGPU assures logistic support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making campus infrastructure available to them.

Spots time is actually less for us. As am a first year student i have only witness Onam celebration, ethnic and freshers day and Christmas. The programs were so nice. And continous class hour is causing a bit stress Lots of exams condecting in single semester for evaluation.

I have applied for bba in mes college marampally, unfortunately i didn't got admission there for merit seat. I choose this college over other colleges because i felt like its convenient for me to travel daily.

The faculty members are all nice. They have good kknowledge about what they are teaching. They teach us properly based on the current cirruiculum. Most of the facultys are Phd holders and have immenese knowledge on many things

There's many spots which you can spend with your friends at Kmea street which is common place for all the kmeans( students from kmea arts and science college and also for students from kmea architecture college. Especially theres many trees which gives shade and helps us to hangout with our people. There's a cafeteria nearer to our block. And there's one cafe in the block of kmea architecture which is serving good tasty snacks and drinks. Also there's a canteen under the block of kmea arts and science. Hostel Facilities: Hostel facilities are very good and safe hostel is located close to college is very easy to come and no travel expence for college hostel meal guality is good they give different type of foods in different day.
