Likes

The college has a very good infrastructure. It really gives a vintage look.
Ncc and Nss gives a good exposure to the students.
The professors are well qualified and are very friendly towards students.

Dislikes

There are problems related to cleanliness.
The hostel food is only average and not very good.
The college does not provide any placements or internship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course gives insight into past events in a chronological order. It also studies history from a research perspective. Exams are usually conducted in semester system every 6 months. The exams are of moderate difficulty.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course is comparatively low. Apart from an admission fees of 5000 only exam fees are to be paid every semester. The college does not provide placements. We can apply and get government sponsored scholarships.

Campus Life

There are many fests held in the college which is conducted by the college union including the freshers day , onam , Christmas etc. The NSS and NSS gives good exposure to students. Sports activities are actively conducted.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is low and affordable. There is a bed, fan and table are provided in the room. The meal quality is average. There is no specific menu, here you can get typical south indian food which is not so bad.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The students needs atleast 80% of marks in 12th to get admission. The application form is released in the official website of Kerala university. Only SC/ST candidates can get the reservation. If you need admission there should be a good percentage of marks.

Faculty

The professors are well qualified and are very helpful and friendly towards students. There are atleast 10 professors in each department. We can interact with the faculty at any time during the day at the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economic somehow teaches us how to manage in real world.. I can connect a lot more to real world while learning economics. It is a little too difficult to learn for sem exams. The sem exam is just in 50/70 marks.. The exam timing is 1 1/2 or 2 hrs.

The college provides many placement opportunities. The campus placements happens during the sixth semester of the course. The college conducted many placement drives. The college provided classes to enhance interview skills. The college also provided opportunities to prepare Resume, Curriculum Vitae and conducted mock interviews to enhance their confidence level. Most of the students got placed who attended the interviews. I am planning to go for higher studies. I am planning to pursue Masters in English Literature. EVERY COLLEGE HAS SOME POSITIVE AND SOME NEGATIVE POINTS. POSITIVE POINTS INCLUDES CARRIER OF STUDENT AS THIS IS A TECHNICAL INSTITUTES IT IS BETTER THAN GENERAL DEGREE COLLEGE WHICH ONLY DISTRIBUTES CERTIFICATES. PRESENT TIME IS OF TECHNOLOGY SO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE IS VERY NECESSARY. THIS INSTITUTES PROVIDES JOB AFTER COMPLETATION OF COURSE. IT PROVIDES HOSTEL FACILITY FOR STUDENT WHOSE HOME IS BEYOND 60KM. HOSTEL FACILITU IS VERY GOOD. THREE TIMES MEALS ARE PROVIDED ON NORMAL RATES THAT IS ?56 PER DAY.
