Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well after my 12th this whole concept of media and getting into the world of media studies has kept me always on the edge of the seat. Because during my early days in IB I always had a knack for media studies and always be the top of my class. I just loved the world of media. There are just lots of things to do in media. Its a very productive genre for youths in working and creativity areas. Companies look forward to people like me. Our skill is their definition towards a new growth. The way how college prepares you for exams. Good luck with that. I don't think they mentally prepare us. They never teach us, so that's out of option. This is why the majority fails in my class. They are given a whole chapter without explanations. How can us as a student be prepared for the future?

Internships Opportunities

4

The one company that comes is Noise and for media students are like Media advertising in their company which we really get around 3LPA or 4LPA confirmed. I don't know the actual LPA but the packages when any company comes their offered with these.

Fees and Financial Aid

I just have one thing to tell about the fee structure it's completely different. During the admissions day if I was warned I swear I would do it. I should have dressed like a beggar to not make them make my parents pay that much. If I was dressed like that I am telling less than 1 lakh I would have got the admission. I have a phone I wear good dress and approached them in a very formal manner. Technically the guys thought we rich basically I am rich and told a rate. My parents agreed without a hesitation and continued with it. I need the college life. And yeah this is technically the most beautiful way of describing the fee structure.

Campus Life

4

I have mention before that the college life is good. I never got into any relationship. Like never dated anyone. Actually I never dated anyone for 18 years straight. So it's quiet weird for me to tell this but leading the life so far is fine. I am okay with it. I don't have friends and I don't have anyone like no one totally in college it's just me.... So many of them in the other side. This is how my life has been. The facilities are great. Library and lounge facilities are the best.

Admission

My course is a self financed course and the application process doesn't have much like to talk about. It's just how the documents are to be processed after initial stage where they look at if the funds are all in green tick as in approved and I have got my admission in green. The thing here was the principal was the coolest priest ever. He even talked to me about Avatar the movie. Damn this priest is updated on the movies. Good for him. He views all the documents and verifies it.

Faculty

3

As mentioned earlier the faculty is not that great. They're not very supportive. They're not even bothered about us. They just give us some blank things and send us for exams. I haven't failed so far, but I have got low marks and the reason is faculty. If I had a better faculty I would have been rocking my exams like I did in the school. They're note distribution is so poor that I have to rely on ai and Google half of the time. This is how I pass and study hard. This is my reality.

Our curriculum is all good and cover many range of topics which are mostly important and we also had may revision sessions but are very few and as a suggestion i would like some of the teachers to improve the way they take the classes . Sometime at the end of the semester they will hurry up and finish the portions so fastly. We also have 1/2 internals in each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as i love journalism but haven't looked into curriculum before admission. Curriculum is quite good but some portions are irrelevant. Practicals are very less in the college which is really important for this course. The areas related to television and radio broadcasting should be improvised. Exams are once in 6 months
