Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fine until there are some of those subjects which are not of our core subject. Apart from them, the subjects are really good and we love to study them. But still would have been much better if there wasn't any out of core stream subjects.
Internships Opportunities
They provide government internships by 2nd year, like the AICTE, cohort8, and other summer internships. You can make various projects which will be definitely helped by the faculties. Also by tge final year you will be ready with internships and your projects.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are good since 99% students gets placed after college. Companies like Wipro, TCS, etc and more companies do visit college for placement opportunities. As I would get placed I thought of getting mtech side wise as sone higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure mainly depends on the stream you choose. Though the average fees for pursuing btech in csbs is 5.5 lakhs. Also there is some scholarships that they accept and ready to give, like the SVM scholarship. There is rare case of campus employment
Campus Life
The overall experience doesn't disappoints much, since once you get into the college you get know some amazing people, faculty and they would be pretty good person to help you out in a new city if you're coming outside Kolkata. There are various clubs like the cultural, technical, sports and are great to participate in various events. The college organises great cultural as well as technical fests very year.
Admission
There was definitely cut off for this course and it was around 6k-8k in wbjee. The admission process was through the counselling in wbjee. Other entrance exams can be through JEE also. You can also opt for management quota, after paying a sum.
Faculty
The faculty no doubt are good, they definitely help us a lot, despite few. Anyways there's always a bad side of every good thing. The teachers, are available in time of need or is ready to help or teach in cases of doubts.
