What Students Say
Likes
- The society culture in the college and the facilities near the campus
- The fast rate of infrastructural development in the college
- The crowd of the college is also very nice since it's in south delhi
Dislikes
- Maybe if it gave internship opportunities as well it would've been better
- Also the placements are not too good, it's good enough for people who are opting from 3rd party placements
Course Curriculum Overview
Since the introduction of NEP i feel the course curriculum has been made both easier and difficult in a sense that it's easier to choose the right subjects for yourself and score well in exams but also it's kind of difficult to study for 7 papers, but that being said is a problem on the university level, the college prepares itself well enough in such a way that it can give the Students the best experience
Placement Experience
Students entering 5th semester become eligible for placements, and the companies coming for campus placement include the big 4 i.e Deloitte, PW, EY, KPMG etc. the average placement goes anywhere around 7 to 10 LPA. And students are very much allowed to sit in campus placements as well as sit for third party placements through agencies.
Fees and Financial Aid
As such i have not seen any tution fee increase in my tenure as a student, the complete cost of my education including tution fee, and compulsory charges comes upto about 15,000 annually. This includes the course fees and also any examination fee to be paid to the university. Scholarships and financial aids are available for students who are not financially capable, and campus placements are majorly done by the placement cell, who brings major employers into the campus.
Campus Life
The society culture of the college is very vibrant, every other day there is something happening in the college related to societies and events. There is bi-annual system in the college where societies organise events typically between October and November, and in March-April sessions. The library is well equipped with the latest editions of books and is available to all students for more than 12 hours a day. It opens at 9 am sharp in the morning and is open till late night. There is ample opportunity for sports and extra curricular activities and students can participate in societies and Cells to improve their personality traits along with their academics
Admission
The admission process starts from taking the CUET exam, and then registering on the CSAS portal of the UoD. Then filling up the preference list and finally on the basis of your CUET score, being allotted SBSC as your college. The admission process went very well and smoothly and personally i did not face any problems as such.
Faculty
The teachers are approachable enough and their attitude towards teaching and mentorship is also very nice. As far as their credentials and qualifications are concerned most of the teachers are either PHD holders or are currently pursuing PhDs
