Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus for MBBS is really vast compared to what we have studied before. Even though it is really understandable and includes more of practical knowledge and skills. One must put in most of their hardwork and at times a little smart work to tackle the exams

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 765400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college also includes many scholarships. The minorities can get upto a reduction of almost hundred percentage in the fees by having appropriate certificates. mostly the OBC as well as the fisherman family members are eligible for scholarship

Campus Life

The college has air conditioned lecture halls. Labs with high end facilities and all necessary amenities are there for each department. There are many clubs under the college union for developing the soft skills of the students

Admission

The primary to qualify for an MBBS degree in any college in Kerala or India is to qualify for NEET. Mine is a private college. Even though a decent mark in NEET is required for admission. Cut off changes with respect to the difficulty of the exam in each year

Faculty

SNIMS has enough faculty in all the departments that provides the strong pillars of students in all times of need. The classes are very much interactive with projector system, teaching boards and various amenities. Each faculty is approachable by the student whenever they feel they are in need. They try their best to rule out all of the doubts and are really friendly

Life at SUTAMS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not due to the curriculum..i qlways dreamed of becoming a good doctor.The level.of satisfaction you get in this profession wont be anywhere else.The modernization of curriculum has stressed on the clinical aspects which i think is the core of medicine. We have been taken to bedside and taught to examine patients diagnose the case and interpret imaging.Also the skill lab clears the obstruction we face in a real life like we are being trained in BLS and ALS. Our junior batches are also taken to trivandrum medical college to see autopsy which in fact is a real opportunity. The course could improve in a way that apart from academics it must give importance to sports arts also which is not promoted in our college.Also revisions classes can be made effects by conducting small test papers chapter wise instead of taking chapters on repetition. Exams are almost done in an effective way. The course is actually very difficult compared to others.So much effort has to be put in from both students and Teacher's side.

Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.
