Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is Robotics and Automation . It is a Developing field . There is a lots of opportunities for us. That's why I chose this course. Our curriculum give importance for practicals and projects along with theory so that we can keep up with the external applications. The teaching can be more practical. The exams occur in every 6 months and they are moderately tough.

Class Size : 48Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students from S6 are eligible for placements. There should be no backlogs . They particularly want students who secured more than 8.5 sgpa in university exams . The interview is Exclusively for well performing students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It hasn't been increased in the past two years. Tuition fees are 75000 , 115000and 180000 for merit , management and nri respectively. Exam fees and transportation /hostel fees comes extra. Scholarship are available from college based on their secondary education marks.

Campus Life :

There are 2 events namely Brahma and Ashwamedha . Brahma is cultural and Ashwamedha is tech fest. There are libraries for each department. The classrooms are well facilitated. Sports and extra curricular activities are encouraged .

Hostel Facilities :

There is rack and Almirah in the room. The meal quality is good . The menu is fixed . The food is vegetarian. It is pretty affordable. Hostel is registered in college office . The hostel is near the college .

Hostel Fee : INR 16000 per year

Admission :

Keam should be attended. Application form is available in college site and also directly from college office. Exams occur at the starting of the semester along with interview. It is not that tough . Good communication skills are required.

Faculty :

There are a lots of faculties . The faculties have minimum qualification of Mtech and some have PhD. We are in good relationship with our teachers . They provide love and support along with guidance and mentorship.

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

My Journey at MITS

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
