Course Curriculum Overview

This is based on old curriculum, I would like to update old curriculum to new curriculum in my opinion, teachers are good infrastructure is good but teaching method is very bad, nice football ground

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am an hostler so I have to pay both hostel fee and course fee both are approximately 135000 , my hostel fee is 36000 per semester and my tuition fee is 95000 per year totally excepted expense are above 700000 rs

Campus Life

No more other external entertainments fully mainly concentrated on studies hostel fest and collage fest are available here and one sports day will occur over all it is fully based on studies no more other illegal drugs

Admission

It was really easy based on entrance exams like jee or keam like exams here is both merit and management seat available 50:50 and nri seats are also available admission process and procedures are very easy

Faculty

Highly qualified faculties,doubt clearance section excellent faculties, student to student interaction,teachers to student interaction available, friendly teachers, highly experienced faculties good behaviour

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
