Course Curriculum Overview

3

Wel the course I was doing is chemical engineering and it is a huge industry and will always be a relevant topic, i heard they have good research facilities and is known for their placements so I decided to join here, if the professors were a bit more understanding and wasnt very rude with the attendance issues it would have been way better

Internships Opportunities

4

There are so many companies that offer internships, such as petroleum ones, pharmaceutical ones etc etc There are also so many different projects and few of them are learning cancer cells which comes under pharmaceutical and then there are a wide number of projects

Placement Experience

4

The college is known for their placements and have really high percentage for placements and including for my course a lot of high percentage is there for placement but it also depends on your cgpa amd grades, the better the grade the better the placement you get

Fees and Financial Aid

There was a scholarship program being offered, im paying around 4 lakhs per year and separate for hostels and mess too, the meds was so bad I had to move outside itself, it would take around 40lakhs for the whole complete education

Campus Life

4

It was actually so fun with all the friends and going out and since it was a student town campus it made it even better and also it was so much fun getting to meet new people on a daily basis and networking and seeing other people grind which motivated you to work as well

Admission

I didnt like how it was an online exam and everyone could have copied and got a better score, I had given the MET exam (manipal entrance test) which was based on your 11th and 12th portions, the timings were in the morning time and the paper was difficult as well

Faculty

3

We have different teachers teaching different subjects and most of the professors work on their own projects too, they are pretty nice and some professors are pretty understanding where as there are other professors not so good as well,it mainly depends on what course you are doing

Placement Experience:

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
