Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is pretty boring to be honest but it is necessary for us to study about it because it creates a concrete base for us to move up in our career. Exams are conducted in interval of 3 months.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You can join as an intern at any property by your own means giving and interview ot should be a 5 star property. We need to work in all four department like.housekeeping, kitchen, food and beverage, and front office.

Placement Experience

There are total 6 semesters in the period of 3 year. We arw eligible for Campus placement after sem 5 as we complete most of our studies by that time. Companies like Taj , ITC, Oberoi Froups visit our vollege for recruitment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is very simple to understand as college charges only for the course we need to buy books, uniform and others required things feom outside the college. Property's like Taj, Grand Hayatt etc visit our college for placements.

Campus Life

There are 3 main events conducted. 1 in each year. for the first year we have a Theme Lunch. Where the college is turned into a full fledged restaurant for a day where people can pre book table to have food prepared by first years. In second year Brunch and Third year Mercado.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is far better than a typical boring hostel. The warden is very chill. You need to get a set rank for hostel allotment. And the fee is around 80k. Hostel is mainly alloted for the first years.

Admission

For placement in any of the IHM all over India you need to clear NCHMCT which is an entrance conducted in the month of June. For top IHM you need to be in top 4000 AIR. As IHMs are well renowned all over the world the exam is pretty tough.

Faculty

They are the passouts of the same course which helps us in each and every way. They know how to answer our questions in detail and they are very friendly aswell. Each subject has its own teacher who specialises in that field.

Overall Experience with IHMCT GOA

Placement Experience:

Placement start from 5th semister with hotels like, Taj, Oberoi, Marriots etc. visiting campus. The highest package was offered that time back in 2015 was Rs. 400,000/- and the average package was around Rs. 250,000/-. After graduation started working in a restaurant chain in Mumbai. Was selected in a campus placement in Saudi Arabia, but due to some political interferences at 2015, had to drop the idea. After some years, I transitioned my career to Data Science in 2024.

Me and my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

if I am being honest, I chose this course because of my brother he is in this industry and doing very well, but I did not know that to pursue your career in this field. You really need passion for this industry which I like, and currently, I am suffering because I do not want to do this anymore, and I am thinking about leaving it, but for students who are really interested in this field, the curriculum is very nice. It focuses on practical as well as theoretical knowledge. The training provided by teachers is very nice.

IHM GOA Review

Placement Experience:

Anyone is eligible for campus placement by end of the 5th see there are a lot of placement options. but the salary that is provided at the associate level for any employer is way too less, it's close to 12-15k per month. But when selected for MT Programs, it is somewhere 23-28k per month and a hike of position and salary after two years or completion of the MT Program duration.

I chose the college for its reputation, practical training and placement opportunities over others I appled to. The admission process was starightforward, based on JEE exams, with competitve cutoff. You have to be a 12th standard pass with 60%. Generally, you have to apply by taking the NCHMCT JEE exam, and if you crack it, you will be offered 3 IHM institutions of India to select and then they proceed.
