- The campus and the environment of LPU is really good.
- The university received the highest grade in NACC with A++
- Placements for the students are in average level not so good but not so bad too.
Dislikes
- Management of the university is not so good . I personally have faced a lot of problems due to management issues
- Some faculty/ teacher are good but rest are not up to the mark or as expected
- The hostel’s mess is not so good. Many of the students face problems with hostel mess and hostel too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very good for the upcoming years as well as generation. The syllabus and the examination system is also really good but some might face issues with the examination system. Further the course is really good and the subjects and syllabus for it is also really good.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is good in lpu which focuses on major and minor projects for realtime projects Some companies are invictus , Wipro , etc which provides some good stipend. The companies also helps or provides full time opportunities
Placement Experience
The placement in LPU is good not not so good. Students form their 3rd year (who has 4th year) and 2year who has 3 years are eligible for placements. Companies like virtusa, accenture, Wipro, TCS, Amazon comes for hiring students. Total offering maybe out of total students 80%. And my plan is getting placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is some how really expensive when I joined it was 120000 and now its 140000-150000 for BTech , which I think is little expensive but LPU also provides scholarships according to its own test LPUNEST or if not then JEE and 12th marks too which provides 10-30% off in the fee. The fee payment system in LPU is not so good, we need to pay the fee before our semester/ in the end of the previous semester .
Campus Life
Campus life in LPU s really great . Campus is very big and the environment is very good. Lpu celebrates almost every festival but some famous festivals in LPU are One world , one India, youth festival, etc. The campus has 2-4 libraries which contains 10-20k different books of different kinds. The classrooms are also good with projectors charging ports acs fans. The university also focuses on sports and extra activities and many of the students from lpu have represented India and brought medal . There are many students club in lpu which helps in gaining extra knowledge and experience .
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is average and the meals in it is also average. You need to book the hostel facilities for 1 year and if its ends and you need to book again. The fees of hostel is quiet expensive and there are different types of rooms and meals which you can choose in which the fees may vary. On an average the total fee including hostel+mess might be 120000 and if you opt for the best it may reach 200000 for a year. If you rent a room or pg in the locality your 1 year costs may be around 70000-120000
Admission
The application process for lpu is first through online process and while applying there might be some criteria based on the course you choose. After applying you will be going through a test LPUNEST which is basically for the scholarship and then after that you need to visit the campus for reporting and start with your further process like hostel allocation , your classes starting date announcement.
Faculty
The qualification of the faculty members are good but many of them have no experience and I this experience matters the most. But there are some really great faculty who always tries his/her best and and always boosts the students. I have seen some faculty who is best in their profession.
