- Academic wise this is a very good college. There labs are upto date and you find all the required things.
- Hostel rooms are spacious. You don't have any problem. Mess food is average.
- Teachers are very supportive and helpful you in every situation. You just have to reach out.
Dislikes
- Other branch students don't respect biotech students. Mainly CS students they think they are superior.
- Attendance you have to maintain 75% otherwise they don't allow you to sit in examination
- Lack of fest . There are mainly 2 big fest organised.
Course Curriculum Overview
Biotechnology is very emerging field in upcoming time. I love to know bio in depth and how this field is available in every field like farming, medicine,etc. In COVID time only this work so hard that we get vaccines. In upcoming time India is going to make more new things.
Placement Experience
Mainly companies come for CS students and very less for biotech industry. Biotech students are also eligible to sit in placement in IT industry. There are very less core companies for biotechnology. Highest package for biotech industry is 10 LPA and average is 5-6LPA . Almost 80% students get placed.Either you go for higher studies to get good placement in core companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
So basically tuition fees is 149500 per semester which is quite expensive. Hostel charges are 80000 per semester. Scholarship provide to those students who need and majorly staff members child. You get jobs in pharmaceutical industry, food industry, research industries.
Campus Life
Library is available and accessible till 10 pm. You get every academic book you need . You don't required to buy books . Library is spacious and you easily spent 4-5 hours without any discomfort. Smart class is available and projectors are also there . Staff is also very supportive, just go and ask your doubts . playground available for cricket and basketball. Indoor games are also available like chess , carrom ,etc. there are social groups you can join according to your interest.
Hostel Facilities
Hotel rooms are quite spacious and sharing of 3 person. In hostel you get one almirah, study table and chair , and single bed. Single rooms are also available you have to pay additional charges. Just remember one thing single rooms are very less . Quality of food is average. You get lost of variety no doubt. Meal is changing every day and review of students also taken in mess about food .
Admission
For admission you have more than 60% in your class 12th with PCB . There are two methods of admission first one through jee mains basis and other through your class 12th score . Then sit in counselling. If you get your desired feel then welcome to college.There is not any reservations. There are mainly 2 maine exams happen every year.
Faculty
Faculties are very supportive you don't have any problem. They help you whenever you need . You just have to reach out and explain your problems in academic as well as non academic also. They teach very thing from basic. You don't have any problem in understanding concepts.
