Course Curriculum Overview
The course taught here is well structured and desinged to meet the current demands of the New Education Policy. The subjects are highly relavent and desinged to meet demands of the industry. The students acquire relevant skills and technologies that helps them to secure a good job. We have total three exams two Mid Semester Exams and End Semester. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate.
Internships Opportunities
My college offers various internship oppurtunities ranging from technical roles to core roles. Students can get practical experience in their particular domains.Companies like Tata steel, Vedanta, Aditya Birla Group offers Summer Internship to students.BIT Sindri also helds it's own campus internship drive where various core companies visits our campus to recruit students.The Training and Placement Cell guides students to get internship offers.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario at BIT Sindri is good and almost ninety five percent of students managed to get placed during placements. The average package stands at 7-7.5 Lacs per Annum. The popular companies that visits our campus are Tata Steel, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Jindal, Vedanta, Laursen and Turbo, JSW Steel, Byjus, Tata Power. The highest offered in 2023 was 50 LPA by D.E Shaw and the highest offer was 45 Lacks by amazon in the year 2022. The placements statistics are achieving new heights every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of BIT Sindir is very less and affordable to students coming from all backgrounds. The Annual Fee is nearly Forty Thousand Rupees excluding mess fees. Students can avail various scholarships like Reliance Foundation, Siemens Scholarship and government approved E-Kalyan Scholarship.
Campus Life
The campus life at BIT is welcoming. It offers a wide range of extracurricular activities . There are several clubs and societies including cultural clubs like The Arts ClubHnCC, Model Club.These clubs held there own annual fest like Tech-Udbhav, Sandhaan.the classrooms are quite spacious and comfortable with smartboards. The Central Library is the most important library from where students can select the books the want to read and have dedicated spaces for studies. The tech fest was recently held from 3rd of May to 5th of May.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel campus is large and is affordable. The rooms are quit large and spacious with each room accmodating five students in first year and three students in the second year. Students can get their single rooms in the final year. each room has two fans and every student get their study table. The mess food is average and stduents can get both veg as well as non veg options, Studets will get four time meal in a day. The students can select if they want to choose a hostel during the starting of admission process.
Admission
I qualified my JEE-Mains 2023 with Ninety Four point Nine Three percentile and secured a rank of Fifty Seven Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Four and managed to got IT branch at BIT. The admission process was smooth and student friendly. Students can get admission at BIT Sindri by registering in JCECE counselling. The registration fee was 500 rupees. Total three exams are held in a single semester.
Faculty
The faculties and staff members here at BIT Sindri are well qualified. Most of them have completed their P.hd and Masters from renowned colleges of India. The faculties members are very helful and supportive.The faculty to student ratio is 1 : 17.
