KIIT - An Overview

I had a strong keen in electronics from 5th standard which led to my decision opting for this course. Besided the curriculum in our college also influenced a lot in developing a deep interest towards my course during the whole time .

Our college provides decent opportunities for internship such as research fellowships, summer trainings and internships in different renowned companis and universities too. Projects such as samsung prism project are also offered by our college faculties

From 6 th semester , students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like txs , wipro , amazon , infosys , accenture and 400 more companies visit our campus , and a lot no of offers are made by them. Highest package was 72 lakhs per annum and average is 12 lakhs per annum there is 95 % rate of students getting placed.

The fee structure is as follows : Course fee for btech : 1,95,009 Hostel fees for non ac three bedded rooms : 28,000 Mess fees : 22,500 Swimming pool and gym fees : 300(after a one time registration of rs 500)

There are a lot of technical and cultural festivals happening everytime in our campus . Just like the kiit fest held during the month of February. We have a central library and different deparmental libraries for the students for easy access of books. Classrooms are decent and there is a bright scope and future for sports in our college.

Hostel facilities are overall moderate . Room contains a big cupboard , a table and chair for each student , a bed , a mattress and a pillow too. Meal menu is good however meal quality is moderate. Hostel registration can be done during admission as oer the instructions and are affordable.

The eligibility of the course was a cut off of 68% in the kiitee entrance exam offered for admission in kiit. The application for. , fee struc6and application dates all are easily available in the official website of kiit. There are certain reservation benefits for obc , sc and st. The phases of entrance exams are held within a gap of 1 month

The faculty to student ratio is 1: 25 and the teachers present in our faculty are much experienced and well educated and qualified asper our courses. We also have research facilities with highly qualified staff members , excluding a few.
