Bengal College complete review

I have selected Btech and the course which I have applied for is Computer Science and Engineering. The complete curriculum is designed by MAKAUT university and it is well designed. It is adapted with the latest industry requirement which is the necessity. We get to learn everything like programmimg, design, aritificial intelligence and much more. After the completiomn of the course we are industry ready and we are confident to work in the every field of tech industry. Apart from this, college needs some improvement on classes essenetial like smart board, projector, etc. For examination, every semester we have 4 internal exams and 2 internal practicals. After the end of very semester, we have to pass semester exam which gets easy if you are attending the classes regularly. If you are not attending the classes, you will feel some difficulty and you have to work hard to clear the exam.

If you have well prepared yourself then you are eligible to sit in the placements from 6th semester only. The companies finds some eligibility criteria from which they sort out the candidates to hire for them. And you can get a package of approx 6 - 7LPA on an average. The companies that visits our campus is Cognizant, AMazon, Wipro, Infosys, Ola, Byjus, TCS, and many more. The highest package from this college has went up to 23 LPA and the avergae package lies between 6-7LPA every year. When it comes to ratio of placed students, we can say that approx 90% of students get placed every year.

The total course fee is 3,70,000/- and if you are opting for hostel it is 30,000 per semester. The fees is affordable as it costs Rs 42,000 per semester only. Also if you are a residence of West Bengal you can avail a scholarship named Swami Vivekananda scholarship which is based on yur score in the previous academic activity. But if you are form other state, then you have to go for education loan. The college is much much working for the students. The college is listed in all the schemes which government has initiated for students.

My overall experience from this campus is good. Campus has a ground where you can sit and see people playing cricket, and more games. If you are intersted in playing then you can also join them. Students love to help each other here. Some of them have ego issues but you have to face them. You have no other option. College organizes a cultural fest every year that embarks the complete environment of the college. Apart from this, there are several clubs that organizes many events very month that keeps students engaged.

Hostel facility is marked as average. You get all the necessary things in your room. Bed, almirah, chair and a table is provided by the college. You can accomodate the hostel on the beginning of every semester. When it comes to food quality, we have many varities but you have to compromise with the taste sometime.

To get the admission, you have to clear WBJEE exam and after then only you will be able to join this college. You can check the how much you have scored in your exam and then you can check the cutoff. There is a counselling time decided by WBJEE board in which you fill a list of college and among them you get one. So you can list this college in counselling and you can easily come to this college. The admission process on campus is very simple. Yu just have to come with all the required documents mentioned on the college website and you just have to fill a form and done.

When we talk about faculty to student ratio, it is 40:1. Some teachers are well educated are they taches us very well. They are Mtech and Phd graduates so that they are capable of teaching. SOme of the teachers are that much helpful like if you have any unaswered doubt from class, they will ask you to go to their cabin and you can resolve your doubt from them. Some teacher provides hand written notes, online resources to help us grasp good concept on the topic or subject. When you talk about tacher and student interaction, teachers are always accessible to us students. Every teacher has been allocated a cabin where we can approach them.
