The college management and administration is not pretty well. But as I said earlier you would be surrounded by very good peers and that's all by which you can develop a great personality.

The course is well organized and the exams structure is also well. It entirely depends on how an individual wants to make out of his/her college life. Various Research driven workshops and technical clubs are there but these are not so mandatory to join or attend.

The placement of SGSITS is growing exponentially each year. Being the best college of Madhya Pradesh and also considering the fact that not all students get into IITs and NITs and those who just lack by a bit in converting to these prestigious institutes get into SGSITS and so students here are very hardworking and clear about there goals in life.

Apart from AAYAAM that is the techno-cultural fest many clubs like Kshitiz, spark, SRC, Trivium, e-cell etc organize their own events which include both technical and social activities. The college also organizes an event for Freshers known as AVAHAN.

The fee for the course per semester is between 35k-45k depending on the branch to which you get enrolled into. the fee mentioned above is exclusive of the hostel fees. But the hostel fee is also not very high and near to the college, many residents accommodate students as paying guests.

I received a scholarship from Cummins Turbo Technologies. Every year they conduct a written exam followed by interview for all students regardless of there category or anything else. If you clear the exam, they will provide you your semester fees but stationary expenses.

The campus life is very interesting if you get into some club and also get involved in some extracurricular activities other than academics. The campus is serene and green. There are a well-equipped gym and sports area. There are various good clubs like SRC (Robotics club).

It's the students and the alumnus of SGSITS because of which the college gets very high placements. To maintain a good alumni network definitely helped in getting good internships.

There is a mix of reviews for this answer and also the review differs from faculty to faculty. Some Faculties are highly qualified who have pursued masters from very renowned technical institutes of India and knows who to keep students involved in lectures while many others who just join as contract faculty does not have in depth knowledge of the subject.
