Nothing to be disliked but no parking is a major concern
little politics in societies and elections phase is not good
some teachers are rude not every but 1/10 teachers are rude for no reason rest are generous

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite relevant to accounting but it doesn't make you industry ready. Teaching of concepts and extra courses is done but not at such level that it would make you gain practice. You will have to study or practice on your own so that you gain experience instead of depending on teachers

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 29000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite accurate. 30k per year is not expensive for the quality education being provided. The campus placement is good, BIG4s' are a part of the campus placement along with many other big companies. However for some courses like bcom bcom hons they show preference and some of the courses are neglected

Campus Life

Campus life at Du is a solid 10/10. The societies the events and the fests are all upto the mark. They will beat your expectations when the call your favourite influencers at events and have great fun with the fests

Admission

The entrance exam called CUET was great. It was a good level exam which challenged our thinking ability. The application and admission process was good not much issues were there and the staff was cooperative

Faculty

The teachers at SGGSCC,Du are all qualified and expert teachers. Many of them have done the PH.d and have a prefix of DR. Many of the teachers are from SRCC and top colleges like FMS, Delhi. Qualifications like BCOM, MCOM and MBA have been seen in the college

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Dyal Singh College is definitely a great college!!

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

Placement Experience:

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.

Placement Experience:

I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission....Read More
