Remarks

College is student friendly provides every facilities student needs for his betterment. Students suggestions and requests are always considered. This should be first choice for students in PGCET, will not get more value for money anywhere in Bangalore.

Entrance Preview

I took PGCET,got 187 rank! Amongst other colleges like M S Ramaiah,M P Birla,R VIM under PGCET,this is the best college in terms of opportunities and learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is world class. It is top notch and as per my cuurent industry requirements. It's a registered private university. Weekly Industry interactions,Personality Development classes. Other than that if student require any other subject relevent to course can be requested. Presently we have stock markets classes running apart from curriculum and few other students study foreign languages.

Internships Opportunities

College has tie up with Indian university Pennsylvania. Students go for a month internship expenses beared by students, yet cheaper. College doesn't provide internships,but do help in getting one. We haven option of competing internships sooner.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are good. Minimum package offered is 3.5lpa. Highest 7.5-8 lpa. Best college if u have marketing specialisation. Leading banks like axis bank. Indusind etc,then deloitte,sap,Goldman Sachs,IBM,hul, benz,Icici securities etc. Placement are not guaranteed as it is dependent on students overall performance.

College Events

College has many activities going on. Management fests small in house competitions university level competitions. Many Kannada and Bollywood launches national conference,sports competition,exhibitions,seminars,musical nights are arranged in big number.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Under PGCET its upto 60k and under PESSAT upto 6-7lakh. Fees is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

College has many scholarships,merit,category,academic,outstanding performance,special performance,sports prizes etc. College has union bank branch. Although I don't have idea about the loan option. Scholarship facilities for bright students makes things smooth.

Campus Life

Gender ration can be. Male and female is 40:60. Various opportunities for other activities,competition for cooking, eating,sports,acting and many events as college has various courses. These events are large many students from outside colleges come to contest.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are 3 star. Option of one two three and four seater available. Mess food of girls hostel is basically south Indian. Although boys hostel have options. Hostel rental is cheaper as compared to local real estate prices. Fees are 96k, 20 ref

Alumni/Alumna

They have wide almunus network,once in a while alumni interactions will be provided. Seniors help in understanding course curriculum. This is the second year of course since the university has gone private.

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Great learning exposure

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities , diversity , good for networking and banglore is a corporate hub so it's getting easy for to experience corporate speakers.
Hostel facilities, food facilities for students for those who are living in hostels.
And how they prepare us for the corporate world .and the faculty ratio in 1 :12 over there so small batch size leads to better concentration on students .

Dislikes

Timings of hostels for food and go back to hostel time

Placement Experience:

So in the isme the placements are 100% there are lots of companies visited for mass hiring and the average package is about between the 8lacs and 9lacs from the 5 semester we are eligible for the campus placement

Placement Experience:

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Overall a good experience

Likes

Faculty is very approachable very helpful
Diversity in culture and small batch size so that everyone gets the opportunity
On campus hostel is very convenient there are 50% girls so it’s save

Dislikes

80% attendance is mandatory very disciplined
Every time you have to wear formals and timing of hostel is very strict

In the isme we all getting the opportunity to interact with companies and in isme we have trimesters so from 5 semesters our placements will start and there are good numbers of companies comes for placements and they offer good amount of packages

I like here faculty and there teaching style as well as approaching all students
There is on campus hostel which is helpful
College is like a corporate culture experience

Placement is going to happen for everyone by record but there is something that every time some students not get placed my plan is to build skill and learn relevant things and got placed in good company and in a good job

Diversity - We have students from 24 states and gender ratio is equal in all the sections of the batch.
Faculties are very well qualified with a minimum of 10-years industry experience from IIT's & IIM's and also with international exposure.
Security in the campus is very robust which ensures complete safety of the students. Also, there is a separate warden in boys and girls hostel along with 2 security guards.

Dislikes

Discipline - The college is very strict regarding dress code and timings.

Placement Experience:

Last year, around 200+ companies came in our campus for recruitment from various sectors of various industries. Most of the students got converted through PPO's during the 4 to 6 month paid ITP program. Students become eligible for placements after passing all the exams in the third trimester and also after completing their POVAT courses. Top Companies that visited our campus are - Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, Grant Thornton, Wipro, Dabur, Accenture, and many more. The average package was 9 LPA and the highest package offered was 17 LPA. The placement rate for the PGDM is 98%

My Campus Life.

Likes

It is very simple to find out collages . Thier website is very easy to use.
The campus life was very good i had done fun while i was in campus i have done many social interaction in campus i have done social work, fun and many otherthing.
The Excellent Faculity's Expertise. Teaching Method was very good and I get excellent mentorship quality.

Dislikes

I dont like the leave process of the university
and i dont like thier charging for low atteendence

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

Why you should join PESU - pros and cons.

I applied to KIIT, VIT, DSCE, BMSIT along with the usual IIT and NIT with BITS. I did not clear JEE, nor was able to get somewhat of a good score for CSE in BITS. I wanted to pursue CS, so instead of choosing a course I did not like in BITS, I chose CS in PESU. I chose PESU because the placements outdo the others, while also having a better reputation than the others. For our batch, it was giving the admission test called PESSAT, through which you got a rank, and based on that you could enter the counselling round and choose your course based on your rank. Review about PES UNIVERSITY BANGALORE

Except this college I had applied to RV college of engineering which is the goated college of banglore but because of the cutoff in that college I was not able to join that college. I was allocated to BMSIT college in my 1st round of Kcet but the college was the second branch of BMS College so I choose PES . No I didn't get any rejection from other college but the only issue was the cutoff of RV college of engineering i didn't had enough rank to join there . To join into our college there is a common entrance exam conducted by Karnataka government known as KCET .most students prefer this exam as it reduces the fee of your college.
