I'm a first year student in keshav memorial institute of technology shortly it is called as kmit.I like kmit's faculty intention and their priority towards the coding skills these college focus on mainly coding skills when compared to other Colleges
I like the circulam in kmit and special batches like project school finishing school
I think kmit provided me a good environment with good faculty and friends and that helps me to improve me in all aspects

Dislikes

Kmit college is too small to explore and poor infrastructure
And it doesn't contain a hostel facility for the students
Due to poor infrastructure structure slowly I started bunking

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college provides a special batches in the name of coding school. In these batches the faculty members prepare the students to solve real world applications. I these is one and only special thing in kmit college

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10300 per year

Internships Opportunities

We get intership in 3-1 in third year of btech . I heard from my senior they are not going to allow to do internship in 1st and 2nd year of btech life . They conduct a exam and select the people according to their cutoff

Placement Experience

I found a very interesting thing when I was searching to join. Kmit college provides good placement with a good package. When all colleges struggling to bring companies to their college .I was not seen that problem in kmit college.I think these enough to say about kmit placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Kmit is emcet listed college.when I was joined kmit it's fee structure was 103000 per annum and it provide free reimbursement for the students who qualified emcet according to their categorise. And for the management seats 115000 per annum no reimbursement was given for management quota students

Campus Life

Kmit don't have a big campus this is a one of the negative point About kmit college.it does not allow to do fest in college. If you're not at all interested in enjoying these is the reason right place for you

Admission

You can get admission through emcet entrance test . T S government conducts these exam . To get seat in kmit you have to score below 15 thousand. Cutoff is based on category reservation for OC upto 7k , for OBC upto 14k so on

Faculty

Kmit college have a great faculty and their priority towards education is very special. I think no other Colleges in Hyderabad cannot match kmit . Kmit tries to give the skills required for a software engineer whereas I can't found in other colleges circulams

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

KMIT College Review: Where Learning Meets Opportunity
