Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum provided by the college is enough for students to excel in technical world. As the college is autonomous the subjects the college teach are very different and unique from the other colleges. The professor focus on the overall development of the students such as communication skills and aptitude building and various computer languages to get placed in the best company of the respective domains

Fees and Financial Aid

The financial assistance in the college is fulfilled through the various scholarships provided by different organisations and colleges.The scholarships include reliance, katalyst, mahadbt, Cummins program, smile foundation and so on. The scholarships provided are totally based on the merits it may be through some tests or specific eligibility criteria such as marks obtained in SSC and HSC, income eligibility.

Campus Life

The college conducts various events in college to endorse the active participation and hidden talents of the students. The college conducts major three events every year to experience the best college life. Through these events it becomes easier to connect to people and increase olthe qualities of being able to talk to people with our own perspective. The clubs in the college provides the biggest opportunities to carry on with the particular hoobies of the students

Admission

The admission process of the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is very smooth and friendly. The processes through CAP counselling rounds just needs to report to college to pay the fees and required original documents of the students.There are also spot round held in the college for the admission. All the information can be obtained through the official college website. The process would have been more convenient if there would have been more place in the college for accomodation.

Faculty

The professor in the college are very keen and have profound knowledge about the respective subjects. The faculty is of kind nature and very helpful in terms of academics as well as personal problems. The attitude of the faculties is amicable believes in learning from everyone in every situation.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

honest review focusing around accommodations, reality, college life, placements

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
