Course Curriculum Overview

I am a cse student.IITk started the department first time in iits, obviously it would develop much here. You will be prepared for the best packages and personal development. Exams are difficult taken on midsem and endsem basis

Placement are decent in my college 35 lakh pa average for my branch. And highest get 3 crores pa I don't know much details about all companies but can tell -- janestreet microsoft google goldman Sachs,

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying my full fee here not applied for any scholarship till now. Tution fee is 1 lak but if you fall in scholarship it falls to zero, others are just hostel and mess and other campus essential fees 15 k

Campus Life

As is said freedom every where, every research book you can think is in library ,for every course multiple books. I don't think in need to tell much about fests of iits. All sports, and club facilities are available her

Admission

Honestly for my rank I just chose 3 options iit bom iit delhi and iit k cse in josaa counselling. Admisson process is jee advanced, everybody knows about it. I got 134 rank and pulled out my bag for here

Faculty

Faculty are like 1:7 ratio, they are willing to spread their all knowledge to u. The thing is how much can you grasp. They will teach from the very foundation like how the knowledge evolved, but also expect you to provide solutions in exam like anything must be from very foundation

College life and it's reality

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Campus placement is offered in college but not all students get on campus placement only some students get and others have to search for off campus placement you have to be in top 10 in your branch to get a on campus placement as the competition is very high

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

Many Company Visited in our College Campus like Novoinvent, HUULKE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, TCS, VIRTUAL EMPLOYEE, GRANT THORTON and Many more. Highest Package of Our College is 8 lpa and it is depend of Students Capibility and Average Package is 3 lpa. 50-60% students got placement and lastly I wanna say is that It's not depend on College it's depend on Students. Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.

In IIT Kanpur, You have to clear Jee mains first then sit for Jee Advanced, and on the basis of advanced rank, you are allotted IITs, around 14 lakh students give mains out of which around 1.5L seats for advanced, and from that around 20k students get its, everything about the application form, dates, fees can be availed on www.nta.ac.in. To take admission in IITK, one must clear JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced with a decent rank. The candidate must also have 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th boards examination or be in the top 20 percentile of the board .
