Likes

The multiple club culture that our institute has is really very good which provides students deep knowledge about dynamic field.
The academic structure is also very good at the institute which focuses more on practical knowledge than that of just theoretical knowledge.
The faculty in the institute is also very kind and knowledgeable and are always ready to help with any kind of doubts.

Dislikes

The campus of the institute is little small otherwise overall college is very good.
The area in which college is situated that is also not that good.
Also there are issues for parking especially for 4-wheeler.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really very good here which focuses mainly on practical knowledge rather than that of theoretical knowledge. There are presentations scheduled atleast 1 in a week so that students can improve their soft skills and become industry ready. There are 2 exams in a semester Mid- sem and End-sem which are held online MCQ based . The lab exams and Viva are held offline.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3 rd year of your course itself you are eligible for campus placements. Various reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment lile accenture microsoft capegemini cognizant etc. The highest package offered is about 15LPA and average package offered is about 8LPA.The percentage of the students placed is about 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are many scholarships that college provide to the students through the goverenment based on the caste categories which differ their fees for e.g. if you belong to SC/ST category then your fees for whole year will be 6000/-approximately. The amount differ for every category.The employment rate is abot 90% i.e.almost every gets placed in different companies.

Campus Life

There are 3 fests that take place in college. Vishwa Tech Spectra which is technical event .Vishwakarandak which is sports and extra-curricular event and Vishwotasav which is cultural event. In every event students are given opportunity to showcase their talent.

Admission

The admission in the college are based on the score of JEE mains and MHTCET entrance exams. The cutoff for every category is different according to different branches for e.g. if you are opting for CS branch then your score has to be more than about 95 percentile.The application form are provided in the collge itself.

Faculty

The faculty in the institute is very good. Almost everyone in the institute is PHD degree holder.They are very kind to evry student and help everyone with any kind of doubt.Also they are very much understanding.The students can approach the faculty in their free time.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Honest Review on VIT, Pune

Except for VIT, Pune, I had applied to colleges like PCCOE, PICT and etc colleges located in Pune itself. My JEE rank was around 77000 or 91.12 percentile and my CET percentile was 96.4, so I couldnt get into PICT. Even if i wanetd to get into PICT, i was getting the EnTC branch, which i didnt want. The admission process included firstly of CAP round followed by SPOT round. The cutoff for various branches depends on the CET and JEE Merit rank/percentile that you have got and on the basis of that youll get the branches in CAP or SPOT round....Read More
