What Students Say

Likes

All the things regarding academic are on time. All the things are predecide. faculty are very much helpful also hostel facilities are very good .
Social interaction is satisfactory. All the things are on English so English is mandatory.
Infrastructure is just satisfactory as college is very new.

Dislikes

Food is one of the thing I don't like. Although management is good but I don't like it personally.
Interaction with senior is not for 1st yr.
Little bit there are less festivals celebrated in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course decided are based on today's industrial demand.one can take additional subject of other courses according to their comfortablity and interest.exams are taken on good time. Time frame is very good. Classes are conducted during 9 to 5.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65500 per year

Placement Experience

Average package of students in not andhra Pradesh is nearly 10 lakh and presentage of placement is about 85%. Heighest package this year is 44 lakh while lowest is 6.5 lakh. For placement special division of comitiee is there which handle all the things regarding placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

For scholarship staffs are very supportive. They do all the times even in a day in special request and last date. Tution fee per semester is 65500. For students whose family income is less then 1 lakh will get full refund.

Campus Life

Overall everything is fine.and it depends upon yr expectation. I fill this college to be good enough. All the things are done in timely and faculty are very good.if one really want to learn something he can from this college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good in all the expects. It will well maintained and is handled by chief warden.food facility is also good enough. It's nearly 130 per day . There are alot of dish that is offered in routine.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

For addmission one have to give jee mains exam and based on merit there will be counciling by jossa and csab.through which one can get addmission. Exams are held 4 time :2 minor ,1mid sem and 1 end sem. Minor are of 10 marks each , mid sem is of 30 and end sem is of 50 . For passing one must get 35% marks in exams

Faculty

Faculty are very good, having good knowledge and they are capable to deliver it to students.cources are well designed according to industrial demand.all the facilities are available in the college including Black board, projector,smart board.

Rather than this college I also applied for other colleges nit's in the counseling I got this college because of my rank.i also choose this college because it has good placement percentage and average package.and one more reason is I am a native of Andhra Pradesh so this college will be some near also and the food will be good. The only way to get admission into nit andhrapradesh is through jee mains examination. Cut off percentile Is 95. It is youngest nit in India. Infrastructure in nit ap is less compared to other nits. Placements are comparable to other nits colleges...Read More

College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year. It is around the 93 percentile to achieve a branch in the college for an Oc student. Overall admission process is very smooth and not that complex....Read More
