G.Z.S.C.C.E.T. Review

Curriculum has more than enough subjects to learn computer science. Curriculum covered all the theory part of computer science to understand it deeply but for real world more practical part need to be added. Practical part need to be improved and need to add new computer science subject like Artificial Intelligence and Web 3. There is semester of 6 months where each semester has 2 MST and one semester exams all related to the subjects covered in semester.

Students are eligible for placement from 6 semeseter onwards they can sit or can apply off campus as well. There are limited no of companies which visit our college. Average package is around 5 LPA. Companies like WIPRO, Trident and startups visit each year.

Tuition fee increase around 10% every year. My total tuition fee was around 480000. There are many scholerships given on the basis of quota, JEE rank, state scholarship. Overall the fees of college is justified.

There are some festivals every year like Youth festival , Tarranum and sports meet. Frequency of extra curricular activities are less they need to increase the extracurricular activities for more involvement of students apart from studies. There are many groups like Library, Coding etc.

Hostel facility are provided to non local students and the hostel fee is pretty cheap as compare to PG or room. Hostel mess food is average and they give specials at the weekend and the hygiene of the hostel mess and staff is quite good.

There are some eligibility to get admission in the college like percentage. I took admission through my JEE rank and there is one admission form we need to sumbit. There is exams after every alternate month throught the semester. They need to make the admission process more transparent.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:40 so each lecture has only one faculty. Every faculty has minimum PHD in there respective field. Faculty is easily approachable after lectures as well. Overall faculty was good and they have knowledge respective to there subject.
